Sara was on a roll early on in the AAU season, unfortunately she suffered an injury that has her missing some time moving forward. This is a player that has a love for the game and her skillset has been stably expanding over the course of the entire year. At 6’1, Santimaw is lengthy plus she has a beautiful stroke on the ball. The long-range ability shown provides a lot of spacing within the lineup. Her drives have been getting stronger and she also gets to the line. Sara is a factor on the defensive boards too. That previously mentioned length allows her to come away with them amongst the trees. Her team defense is reliable plus she’s consistently active with her arms extended.
Her passion for hoops will have her bounce back even stronger next year. Best of luck in recovery; sometimes taking a step back from the game can allow players to see the action differently. This time can be used to learn and have a better understanding of how to process reads. That raised IQ plus that itch to get back will work wonders together.
