Jeremy Brooks | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Stevie Harley is now out of the state of Nebraska and she is ready to make her mark in her new high school program. Harley might not be out of the Midwest anymore but she is still a 2028 to know of moving into the future. She is currently coming off of a successful EYBL AAU season with her Team Durant program and she is looking to build off of that momentum in her next adventure in a new state. Harley has a nice mixture of height, touch, coordination, athletic ability, and adaptability. With steady progression over the next 2-3 years, we could see her turn into a D1 prospect, that several collegiate programs will have interest in prior to her future commitment.

is no loner going to be a player that we cover throughout the Winter season because she is moving out of the State but it’s important to note that she received a UNO offer on her visit last week before she takes off. Harley is coming off of a memorable AAU season on the EYBL Circuit with her Team Durant EYBL team. After making a name for herself as a freshman with Bellevue West a year ago, she took that momentum and showed her worth on the road as a rebounder, scoring threat down-low, as well as a defensive presence against some of the best young talent in the Nation. We wish Harley the best. She is going to be a hooper with several D1 offers before she ends up committing at the end of the day. Something she should extremely excited about!

just put together an AAU season to remember with her Team Durant EYBL program. Harley, the dominant 5’11 SF, was a killer during high school ball but I needed to see her offensive game round out a little bit more to stick near the Top 5 for the 2028 Class. It seems like Harley heard this remark as this Summer has been a complete 180. Harley is killing it on the EYBL Circuit with her length, quick first step, and her willingness to mix it up with anyone else physically on offense. She is showing her dominant-self and her true potential, which you love to see. It’s also been stated that Harley will NOT return to Nebraska for high school ball following all of this. She will be headed out of state to be closer to family. A switch up that is sure to get her some more eyes from the next level as time continues on.

The potential upside that
Stevie Harley

has on both offense and defense are noteworthy. Harley was a state leader in BPG last Winter as a freshman, while also making an impact as a defender in the lane, rebounder on both ends, and contributor as an offensive option. She still has a ways to go but I Harley could be a Division-1 prospect before you know it once she polished up her overall play-style. She just needs to stay in the lab in her off-time and continue to work on her weaknesses.

Stevie Harley is a nice wing prospect who is terrific on both ends. She is a good spot-up shooter, does an excellent job defensively, and is impactful on the glass. Stevie has the skillset that makes her a plug-and-play player, and playing on this Team Durant team will get more eyes on her.

The best defensive prospect that this Class has to offer at this time is

of Bellevue West at the Small Forward position. Harley is a menace near the paint on both sides of the ball. She is a consistent rebounder on each end, she is always stalking the middle of the lane looking for a block when the opponent looks for a bucket at the rim, and she possesses great length + athletic ability to recover into space if someone gets beat while trying to defend. This Winter Harley’s numbers reflected the type of player she is. If she can round out her offensive game and work on keeping it simple, she is going to be someone to watch throughout her high school career these next few years.

Someone that is going to be in the conversation for Freshman Of The Year in Nebraska is

of Bellevue West High School. Harley may only be a freshman but her impact at the varsity level has been noteworthy to say the least. Not to mention, she comes in at #10 currently in BPG throughout the entire state of Nebraska, no matter age level or Class. The four main intangibles that Harley brings to the table is better than average size, athletic ability, a high motor, and adaptability. She can do a lot near or far from the hoop as it pertains to the skill-side of things and her natural size helps her use that to her full advantage. If Harley progresses to her full capabilities over the next three years, the sky is the limit.

moving into this Freshman high school season of her’s and I’m glad that her play-style lives up to the hype in several different ways. Harley, a 5’10 SF, is already making a lasting impact on her Bellueve West program. She is putting up big numbers in the scoring and rebounding categories, she is doing this all through her team’s offensive system, and she is also showing that she can get creative in desperate times to help her team out in one way or another. Progression for these younger grades is always a major key to their process but I love what Harley has done so far.

The combination of size, smarts, coordination, touch, balance, and motor that

demonstrates is impressive. Harley was one of the best 2028’s that I saw compete this Spring/Summer season with
Team Factory
and she is going to have chance to build on that over this next four years on the hardwood. Harley has every intangible to turn out to be something great by the time that her high school journey comes to a close. Just like everyone else in this article, her progress will be the key to her success down the line. If she stays on the path she is currently on, she will stay a Top Rated prospect out of this 2028 Class. She does too many good things and that’s usually a recipe for success.

has to be the one prospect out of this Potential Top Five that I have seen compete the least amount up until this point but when I did see her, she was impressive with her
Team Factory
program on the AAU scene. Harley is someone that stands at 5’11 already and she plays the Small Forward position. She is a player that has superior athletic ability compared to most, an experienced game for her age, and a smart head on her shoulders. Usually these three things are a recipe for success so it’s only a matter of time until she steps out on the Varsity court and makes a name for herself. From my knowledge, I’m still unaware of where she is going to go to play for her high school career but wherever it is, is getting a producer in several different aspects.
