She shows excellent poise with the ball, patiently reading the floor before delivering timely passes to open cutters and shooters, even creating scoring opportunities while under heavy defensive pressure. Her ability to score at all three levels while facilitating makes her a true offensive catalyst.

Harris will communicate and facilitate when she brings the ball up. When she’s not handling the ball, she finds space and opportunities to score as she finishes around the rim. She puts herself in a great position to score and can do so at all levels, from corner threes to short jumpers and drives in the paint.

One of the up and coming players in this class that has a skill set will fit with any team at the next level. A combination of skill and athleticism she was a perfect piece for a stacked Bishop Ireton team and now showing that same play during the AAU season. At 5’9 she has good size and is a good ball handler with skills she is one of the more unselfish stars in this class!

Harris applied pressure in transition for Team Durant with her nonstop pace and ability to quickly turn defense into offense. She sprinted the floor well, awaited outlet passes, and pushed the ball coast-to-coast for fast break finishes while also advancing the ball effectively to teammates in transition. Harris also showcased confidence from the perimeter by stepping into an open three-pointer and continuing to impact the game with her relentless motor.

Aaliyah Harris Aaliyah Harris 5'9" | SG/PG Bishop Ireton | 2028 State VA was the definition of a floor general this weekend. If you weren’t locked in, you could miss her impact on the game. She consistently created opportunities for her teammates, keeping her eyes up in transition and delivering accurate passes to set up open looks. In the half court, she sliced up zone defenses manipulating defenders with her vision and time to generate scoring opportunities. While facilitating at a high level, she also found way to score for her self getting transition opportunities from her defense. Aaliyah played with poise and command throughout; traits that define a high-level point guard.

Aaliyah and her Pippen esc game is smooth as silk. Sunday, she was best in transition as she can get the ball up the court with four or five dribbles with her long strides. She had a nice coast to coast drive where she looked off her last defender at the top of the key to finish with an uncontested layup. Defensively, her wingspan, wide stance, and quick feet reaped havoc on her opponent that seamingly became the difference during her 10am game.

Harris is a smooth, high-IQ guard with the size and versatility to impact the game at multiple positions. She plays with great pace and composure, able to score at all three levels while also facilitating and making smart decisions with the ball. With her improved perimeter shooting, ability to finish at the rim, and experience against top competition, Harris is a poised playmaker who will be a key contributor on the EYBL circuit.

Has good size and can play both guard positions. Had a productive season for Bishop Ireton displayed a high basketball IQ and is a good distributor of the ball. With her size at both guard positions she plays with a lot of good pace when the basketball is in her hands. She can also get a bucket when needed as well!  Her three-point shot has improved and she finishes strong at the basket at a high level. She currently holds multiple division one offers heading into AAU season!

Aaliyah is an underrated talent with the ability to score at any level. Her calm, nonchalant demeanor can be deceiving—she can catch defenders off guard with a smooth three-pointer or a quick drive, all while staying composed and effortless on the floor.

Coming from the highly competitive WCAC, a conference known for producing Division I talent, Aaliyah brings experience and poise beyond her years. Look for her to play a vital role for Durant this summer, providing scoring punch and floor-spacing that will be key to the team’s success.
