was great. She got to the rim and played big in the paint. She got to the line and converted a lot of them. Her offense was significant for Good Counsel in a game that finished 37-34. She had an emphatic block in the first half and was the most impressive player in the game. She also contributed to Good Counsel’s win over Bishop O’Connell.

Talayah emptied her full bag at the Art Turner Memorial Classic after suffering an injury the day before. She showed of an elite level game at the wing not missing a shot in the first half until she shot a buzzer beater from near half court that rimmed out. She is set to join Penn State next season and the ceiling on how far she can go is limitless.

It was unclear whether Talayah would be playing after an ankle injury took her out the previous day. Well after 24 hours and an ankle brace not only did she return but, she returned playing at a level that was beyond what I’ve seen from her. She was doing it all running the floor, attacking, finishing, shooting the ball, defense, you name it she did it. She was clearly one of the top players in the building and with continued play like this she could be top 5 in the class.
