With one more season remaining at the high school level, Hopper is looking to conclude her in a Gaffney uniform with an exclamation point. She would recently secure her first collegiate offer – an in-state get courtesy of Anderson. Following a pair of seasons where Gaffney was classified in the 5A realm, Gaffney will move back down to 4A once the 2026-27 season commences in November. A versatile veteran that can give a team solid minutes in either the frontcourt or the backcourt, Hopper averaged 15.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 steals in the 29 games she played. Last season’s Gaffney team was a 5A Division 2 Upper State finalist.

Gaffney drew one of the toughest draws of the Chapin Shootout as Hopper’s team matched up against defending 1A champion Military Magnet. Because of a 10-point performance from Hopper, 4A Gaffney picked up a tough win over the Eagles. She is listed as both a guard and a forward and one can see by how she plays as to why she can give a team minutes in either the frontcourt or the backcourt. She has the 3-point shooting capabilities of a two guard, the ball-handling capabilities of a point guard and the rebounding prowess of someone who plays the four.

Hopper helped Gaffney put together another solid season in 2025-26 season as the Indians made a tournament run to the 5A Division 2 Upper State championship game. She played in all 29 games for a Gaffney assembling that concluded its season with a 22-7 record. Hopper averaged 15.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest. In that Upper State championship contest against the Red Raiders, Hopper helped her team’s cause with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds plus three blocks and three steals. Gaffney is set to move back down to compete in 4A for the first time since the 2015-16 season next year.

Hopper, similarly to Harris, also struggled early in Monday’s contest. The old saying in sports is that it is not how one starts, but how one finishes. The hooper that is Hopper concluded her evening with 10 points. Eastside’s defense kept Hopper off the scoreboard from the field in the first half but responded by placing eight of her 10 points in the final two frames. She has also been an integral part of Gaffney’s rebounding efforts over the years. Hopper has also established herself as a defensive playmaker between her ability to collect many steals and block many shots.

Tianah was a solid contributor on a well-rounded SC Eagles team that finished 4-0 on the weekend. She did a little bit of everything, but her scoring and rebounding definitely helped lead the team to that perfect record. Her game is bouncy and athletic as she used her ability to elevate to snag boards or rise up and score over a defender around the basket. A lot of upside with this 2027 prospect with a great frame for the next level.

Tianah’s game is very bouncy and her athleticism was top tier in the gym on Saturday. She can elevate so well for boards or to score on top of a defender. Her mid-range game is solid and hard to defend with that spring she has. TT was really hard to contain as she has a relentless motor on the glass and got a lot of buckets on second chances for her team.

Hopper the Hooper. A few of the Palmetto State’s premier standouts sport the purple and black of SC Eagles UA Rise 17U during the travel months. Hopper, who is coming off a 25-3 season with 5A Gaffney is one of those. Her team’s matchup with Mississippi Jazz Elite 17U turned into a track meet that went the way of the South Carolina team as the contest wore on. Two reasons for that were Hopper’s ability to corral rebounds – including on the offensive glass and her overall efficiency. Hopper is also a tough defender and understands how to slice and dice her way through opposing defenses.

Hopper is extremely efficient around the bucket with her play. Tianah can grab a loose ball, deliver on a putback or simply finish on both sides of the bucket. She produces a double-double every time we see her play it seems.
Tianah has a nice skill set and probably doesn’t get enough credit on how well she passes the ball at times. She can play-inside out on the floor when it comes to posting up a defender on the block or simply scoring the rock from baseline.
