Vanesa rebounded everything that came off the glass. She showed tremendous patience in the post, allowing the lane to clear before beginning her attack. Her composure with the ball and her ability to read the defense stood out, as she consistently made smart decisions in traffic. Defensively, her timing was excellent, blocking multiple shots and altering several others to disrupt opponents’ rhythm. She also finished exceptionally well at the basket, maintaining balance and control even through heavy contact. Vanesa’s energy on both ends of the floor and her commitment to securing possessions made her one of the most reliable interior players on the court.
