Now that we’ve all got a little shut-eye... let’s move onto part two and examine some more standout prospects from the Prep Girls Hoops Legacy Classic in Omaha, Nebraska.
[player_tooltip player_id="276508" first="Dominique" last="Mack"] - (6’1-6’2/SF-PF-C/2024) - Nebraska Hoops Elite - Omaha Central (Nebraska) - Dominique is a long wing/interior prospect. Defensively you want her protecting the paint and on the offensive end she can play on the perimeter — showing ball skills and three-point ability. She may be the most versatile two-way player in the event. An absolute shot-blocking machine she was on day one. There’s a lot to like about Dominique’s game and has massive upside going forward! Day two here we go!
[player_tooltip player_id="298801" first="Reana" last="Schmitt"] - (5’10/SF-PF/2022)- Air Minnesota 2022 - Austin High School (Minnesota) - Reana is a talented and tough prospect for Air Minnesota. She’s tough inside as a finisher at 5’10 and can play outside as well. A strong rebounder that attacks and secures the ball as she comes down with it. You can tell she has a high basketball IQ by her decision making with and without the ball. She finished with 16 points and was recognized as a top performer in her final game day one of the event.

With [player_tooltip player_id="63019" first="Audi" last="Crooks"] and [player_tooltip player_id="63033" first="Molly" last="Joyce"] on the CY Select roster, I’m not sure people realize what they have in Katy. She can go hard off-the-dribble and has a smooth shooting stroke. After researching her high school season, Katy had breakout campaign, earning her 2nd team all-state recognition for Class 3A from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. Her stats were quite impressive with, 20.1 point, 10.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2 2.0 blocks, and an eye-popping 5.1 steals per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="246101" first="Aaliyah" last="Riley"] - (5’7/PG/2024) - CY Select 2023 Alpha - Johnston (Iowa) - Aaliyah was one of the most explosive and sudden athletes day one. Her speed and change of direction with the ball in her hands is legitimate. She can push the ball up the court quickly and supplements that speed and quickness with a complete euro arsenal. Uses her quickness and quick hands to make steals and deflections. Just by the eye, it looks like she has room to develop from a physical standpoint and that gives her a nice ceiling going forward.
[player_tooltip player_id="174485" first="Megan" last="Chambers"] - (6’0/SF-PF/2022) - Nebraska Attack 2022 Select Black - Millard North (Nebraska) - Megan is another versatile prospect that plays with toughness and strength. Has solid size and build to her that she uses to her advantage. She goes hard off-the-dribble and every movement she makes is for a purpose. A strong inside finisher off-the-glass and high efficient finisher in general. Runs the floor extremely hard. She was recognized as a top performer with 12 points in one of her matchups day one of the event. If you’re a college coach, Megan is a player that you want on your team for many different reasons.
