Emerson Thompson Emerson Thompson 5'9" | CG Falls Lake Academy | 2024 State NC | Falls Lake Academy
Thompson is an impressive guard already showing off her vision of the court running plays and making smart passes to her teammates. She does well with controlling the tempo of the game knowing when to push the ball up the court or when to pull it back letting her teammates get into position. She has a nice shot from all over the court including behind the three point line.
Lili Booker Lili Booker 5'7" | CG Mallard Creek | 2024 State NC | Cannon
Booker is one of the tenacious defenders that opposing teams should be worried about. She will swat the ball away from her opponents even while they are holding onto the ball, and she does a great job jumping into passing lanes. These steals turn into points as she is fast with the ball taking it the other direction. She has some nice hesitation moves that she uses with the ball to get by her opponents. Booker does well battling through contact all the way to the basket, or she can step back for the jump shot.
Kaylee Carson Kaylee Carson 5'8" | PG Independence | 2024 State NC | Independence
Carson is such a fluid ball handler showing off smooth moves to get to the rim, and she knows exactly when to dish it off to her teammates for them to score some points. She can go coast to coast with speed off of rebounds or steals, and she has a nice shot that she shows off from all over the court. Her IQ is high already with the way she knows how to use fakes and make effective cuts to shift the defense.
Mila Holloway Mila Holloway 5'9" | PG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC | Covenant Day
Holloway can be a ball hog when she’s on defense constantly stripping the ball from her opponents and jumping into passing lanes. She has a nice stroke from downtown, and she doesn’t shy away from driving the ball to the basket scooping it in for the score or showing off a floater for some points. She makes decisive moves with the ball that consistently throw off her defenders creating the space she needs to make her move.
