Carolae is the best rebounder that I’ve seen in years. She goes after every ball securing it with both hands and pushes the ball up the court with the pass or bounce. She is nearly impossible to move out of her position when set and is relentless finishing in the paint even when double teamed. She has a good mid range shoot with a soft touch which makes her pump fake and drive extremely effective.
[player_tooltip player_id="238813" first="Kennedy" last="Umeh"] – 6’3” – Power Forward - Philly Rise
Kennedy has a huge upside and on track to be the top post player regardless of class. She is very agile and has the athleticism of a guard. Her length is very disruptive in the paint and she has great hands to block shots and control the ball in one motion. She finishes well with the baby hook over the shoulder a move that she can pull off with either hand.
[player_tooltip player_id="238838" first="Khaya" last="Carter"] – 6’2” – Post – John Carroll
Khaya uses her big body to post up and absorb contact. She does most of her damage around the basket and has a knack for finding gaps in the defense for an easy catch and finish. She is pretty nible despite her size and can attack surprisingly quick from the high post or short corners.
[player_tooltip player_id="306223" first="Zania" last="Socka-Nguemen"] – 6’3” – Post – Team Durant
Zania is new on the scene and is the latest addition to the rankings. She is an athletic post that can play at the rim. She has the coordination to stretch out to the wing and at the pace she is going, she should develop quickly into an elite level post by the end of the year.
[player_tooltip player_id="304357" first="Chaniya" last="Taylor"] – 5’11” – Post – Power Move
Chaniya thrives off of making plays on the defensive end. She is an exceptional shot blocker and rebounder and is as physical as they come. She is willing to sacrifice her body diving after loose balls and seems to get better and better each time we see her.
