A lot of players are unknown commodities heading into high school for the first time and therefore did not make the initial 2024 rankings. That being said… a LOT of players made their debut on the rankings after a full high school season and for most, a grassroots season. Here is part one of the new additions to the 2024 rankings!
No. 3 – Jill Twiehaus Jill Twiehaus 5'10" | SG Jenks | 2024 State OK | 5-8 SG | Jenks – as we mentioned earlier, Twiehaus is the highest debuting player in the class of 2024 due in large part to her absolutely stellar shooting from long range.
No. 15 – Landry Braziell | 5-11 PF | Community Christian – Braziell makes a very high debut on the list due in large part to her ability to fill up the stat sheet. Last season, Landry was in the Oklahoma top-10 in points per game, rebounds per game and led all players in blocks per game.
No. 16 – Annaston Brown Annaston Brown 5'10" | SF Tahlequah Sequoyah | 2024 State OK | 5-9 F | Tahlequah Sequoyah – Speaking of filling up the stat sheet, Annaston scored in bunches for her Fusion squad this summer and truly earned her No. 16 debut.
No. 20 – Heaven Smith Heaven Smith 5'6" | PG Kipp Tulsa | 2024 State OK | 5-6 PG | Tulsa HOPE Academy – Smith is a hard-charging guard who clearly wants it. She goes hard all game long and stands out on a very, very good iD3NTiTY ELiTE Squad!
No. 22 – Gracie Burckhartzmeyer Gracie Burckhartzmeyer 5'9" | CG Wagoner | 2024 State OK | 5-9 CG | Wagoner – There is a trend amongst the debuters of being very, very good players from small schools. Gracie is a pure shooter with a sweet touch. The small school star scored in bunches for Wagoner last season.
No. 24 – Riley Trammell Riley Trammell 6'2" | PF Mustang | 2024 State OK | 6-1 PF/C | Mustang – Trammell has tremendous size and does a great job of working in the post. Over the summer, she showed off the ability to step out and hit from long range which really put her on the radar of a lot of coaches.
No. 37 – Avery Ellis Avery Ellis 6'0" | PF Vanoss | 2024 State OK | 6-0 G/F | Vanoss – The younger sister of Arkansas Razorback Emrie Ellis Emrie Ellis 6'2" | SF Vanoss | 2021 State #53 Nation OK showed flashes of the ability that made her sister a D-I player. Another small school star, Ellis showed the ability to dominate in the paint at times last season.
No. 38 – Victoria Ososanya Victoria Ososanya 5'9" | SF Bishop McGuinness | 2024 State OK | 5-9 SF | Bishop McGuinness – Victoria has great size and length. She is a tremendous shooter and can fill it up from all three levels.
No. 39 – Brianna Gist Brianna Gist 6'0" | PF Kipp Tulsa | 2024 State OK | 6-0 PF/C | Will Rogers – Gist is a post player with great size who runs the floor very well. No. 40 – Madison Carter Madison Carter 5'8" | CG Wright City | 2024 State OK | 5-8 CG | Wright City – Madison led all freshmen in scoring last season. She is an outstanding shooter and has tremendous court vision. Her ability to whip passes all over the court is unmatched in the class.

She has great vision, handles the ball and protects it, she can shoot it and does a great job defending. I can’t wait to see Wagoner this coming season!
No. 42 – Avery Marchino Avery Marchino 6'0" | SF Bethany | 2024 State OK | 5-10 CG | Bethany – Avery is a tremendous slasher who does a great job of getting to the rim and finishing. She often draws contact and does a good job of converting her free throws.
No. 43 – Taryn Cottrell Taryn Cottrell 6'0" | PF Moore | 2024 State OK | 6-0 PF | Noble – It is clear from Taryn’s video that she works hard for rebounds. It takes a special breed of player to fight for rebounds like that, it takes a “want to.” Cottrell has that – and a nice shot to go along with it.
No. 44 – Salyse Dillihay Salyse Dillihay 5'7" | CG Atlantic Coast | 2024 State FL | 5-7 CG | Tulsa Union – Salyse is a smart player who works hard from start to finish. She is a good shooter and will flourish under the tutelage of Joe Redmond at Union.

She is a very, very good slasher who can rack up the points in bunches. Brown is very fun to watch!
No. 55 – Elliot Geer Elliot Geer 5'6" | PG Grove | 2024 State OK | 5-6 PG | Grove – Geer is a defender first and foremost. She has the ability to lock an opponent down. The scoring is coming around and by the time 2024 comes, she is going to be a really good prospect to keep an eye on.
No. 56 – Makaviya Nelson Makaviya Nelson 5'6" | CG Ada | 2024 State OK | 5-6 CG | Ada – Nelson has been taking a good amount of visits, so college coaches are obviously noticing her great mix of size and skill. No. 59 – Hallie Kitchen Hallie Kitchen 5'7" | CG Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK | 5-7 CG | Broken Arrow – Kitchen will be the first player off the bench for a really good Broken Arrow squad. She is a good defender who can get hot shooting it.
