Leilaya McMillan | Team Carolina Larios
McMillan is an excellent floor general knowing when to speed up the tempo of the game or slow down her speed when running in transition. She finds her open teammates with ease making smart passes, and she moves well without the ball to find her own open areas on the court. She’s a tough defender, too, stripping the ball away from her opponents that she immediately pushes up the court to score some points on fast breaks.
Samantha Davis | Team Carolina Larios
Davis (pictured above) has some good length on her which helps her versatility on the court. She doesn’t shy away from getting close to the basket, and she can certainly shoot well from behind the arc. She crashes the boards going after rebounds, and she can handle the ball well pushing it up the court with ease. She does well moving without the ball, too, finding the open areas.
Georgia Walls | FBC Carolina Elite
Walls knows how to move with the ball to create separation between her and her defender. She is known to hit some clutch three point shots right when her team needs it. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates and filling the gaps on defense when she isn’t handling the ball. She is a tenacious defender making sure that she grabs steals to help her team gain possession.
LeAsia Matthews | Carolina Flames
Matthews is aggressive with the ball always finding ways to get to the basket. She can also step back and show off her jump shot as well from all over the court. Her aggressive play can be seen on the other end of the court with the way she can pick the pocket of her opponents. These steals are quickly pushed up the court for some fast break points.
Jada Coleman | Carolina Flames
Coleman makes sure that she gets as many opportunities as possible to handle the ball with the way she dives on the floor after loose balls and smacks the ball away from her opponents. She is quick pushing the ball up the court with ease to score in transition. As a new resident to North Carolina, she is going to certainly make some waves in her basketball career here.
