Returners for the Regions Top 5

Clark Co: Clark County, Coached by Robbie Graham returns all of their top scorers. Jr. Brianna Byars Brianna Byars 5'11" | PF George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY ended last season averaging 16.7 ppg and 7.2 rebounds. Another Jr. Trinity Gray who averaged 9 ppg returns as well. Senior Tyra Flowers Tyra Flowers 5'10" | SF George Rogers Clark | 2022 State KY who battled sickness and injuries last season looks to come back strong in her last season. Even with the ups and downs of last season she was still able to average 8.9 ppg and 7.2 rebounds. Look for her to have a great senior season. Last but not least freshmen Ciara Byars Ciara Byars 6'2" | SF George Rogers Clark | 2025 State KY , younger sister of Brianna Byars Brianna Byars 5'11" | PF George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY chipped in 6.4 ppg and 4.5 rebounds as an 8th grader.

Montgomery County: The young Montgomery County team Coached by Dustin High shocked many people last season making a run and ending the season as District and Region Runner Up; and they return everyone for this season. Freshmen guard Hayden Barrier Hayden Barrier 5'6" | SG Montgomery County | 2024 State KY lead the Indians balanced scoring last season with 10.7 points a game while pulling down 4.8 rebounds a game. Barriers play seems to set the tempo for the young squad. Senior Savannah Parker averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds last season and was a huge presence in the middle. Shae Harris returning as a sophomore had her most complete season as a high school player last season, averaging 9.3 ppg and 8.4 rebounds. Sharp shooting freshmen Allie Dillon, hit some big shots last season, averaging 9.8 points a game and 3.7 rebounds; she looks to have another great season.

Scott High: Scott High coached by Steve Brown lost a couple key contributors in Mya Meredith Mya Meredith 5'10" | SF Scott | 2021 State KY (20.4 ppg, 6.5 reb) and Sofia Allen Sofia Allen 5'9" | SF Scott | 2021 State KY (15.6 ppg, 8.8 reb) . The lady eagles do return a solid junior class duo in Madelyn Wilson and Ava Coleman. Wilson averaged 8.5 ppg and 7.8 rebounds, while Coleman chipped in 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. These two along with some underclassmen who will step in to fill the void of the graduates will look to improve on last seasons 16-9 record.

Campbell County: The Campbell County Camels Coached by Nolan Boone had some what of a down season last year but with senior Kylie Koeninger Kylie Koeninger 5'10" | PF Campbell County | 2022 State KY who averaged 16.5 ppg and 7.8 rebounds returning as well as junior Keaunna Cullum who contributed a solid 5.4 ppg and 4.2 rebounds returning; Coach Boone’s team will look to battle it out each game to get Campbell County back to where they are used to being.

Bishop Brossart: The Lady ’Stangs coached by first year head coach Garren Parker have some big shoes to fill. With the loss of Marie Kiefer Marie Kiefer 6'2" | C Bishop Brossart | 2021 State KY who was the region player of the year and averaged 19.6 ppg and 11 rebounds. They also lost a combined 12.4 ppg and 4.9 reb from the graduation of Rosie Jump and Jordan Rowe. Senior Lauren Macht returns as the leading scorer still on the roster from last years team averaging 8.1 ppg and 3.9 rebounds. She and her other senior teammate Madison Parker (4.2 ppg, 2 reb) look to take over the reigns and lead the Lady ’Stangs in the 21-22 season.

Like always, it will be an exciting season in the 10th Region.
