Please keep in mind what I say is based on what I “see” please do NOT send me anything someone else says, that is THEIR opinion, and since the numerous agendas as well as everyone wanting to be “in the loop” if I ain’t see it, it ain’t happened because I’m not into the political stuff
Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX -6’0 G (Cinco Ranch)
Foy continues to solidify herself as a nationally ranked player as well as a #BCSLock and here’s why she’s already at “the magic number” which is 6’0 and she can play multiple positions yet watching her slice to the basket and finish acrobatically just keeps getting better and she does it after contact but she also creates the jumper, mid to long-range and knocks it down with ease but her defense, that 6’3 wingspan, definitely creates problems as well as her playing the passing lane which leads to baskets as well
Ruke Ogbevire Ruke Ogbevire 5'7" | CG Fulshear | 2025 State TX -5’6 G (Fulshear)
Ogbevire is on the verge of blowing completely up because she has been playing up for the past few seasons and taking her game, up, up and away but showing her fearlessness against players heading to college over the summer, yes D1 included, told me a lot about her yet so does her explosiveness, not only attacking the basket and finishing strong but off the ground for the jumper but she also does a good job applying pressure on the defense, this includes “on the ball” baseline to baseline
Nataliyah Gray Nataliyah Gray 6'3" | PF Alief Taylor | 2025 State TX -6’1 PF (Alief Taylor)
Gray is letting everyone know there is “no grey area” on her upside as she’s showing BCS signs right now. She has the frame for college basketball right now, in fact, she could play and be effective in many conferences with her power and athleticism right now, keep in mind I’m not a novice at this, and watching her expand her game to show she’s more than a back to the basket player has been a joy to watch. She goes after the ball off the rim, she can ignite the break with the outlet and finish by running the court on the same play, you can’t teach that yet she’s also handling the ball well under pressure
Rezia Castillo Rezia Castillo 5'7" | PG Clear Brook | 2025 State TX -5’7 PG (Clear Brook)
Castillo impressed me so much as a 2nd grader that I dropped #D1Lock on her, contrary to rumor, I haven’t been wrong yet and she became the 2nd youngest player, after my daughter as a newborn, to be labeled as that so let me throw this at you. Off the dribble with either hand, she can just hypnotize the defender yet that “first step” also enables her to show the jumper because if you play her too close, she’s gone and in the open court, just get back because she is fast “with the ball”
Andrea Sturdivant-5’7 CG (Fort Bend Bush)
Sturdivant is one of those “never takes a play off” types of players and her smothering defense has me sweating on the sidelines because she goes hard yet under control and as I flip it offensively, she’s hard to handle in the open court and scores off the dribble as well with the jumper, yet I also enjoy watching her play the passing lane, she reads plays very well and she even outrebounds taller players
Bree Riley-5’6 SG ( Grand Oaks)
Riley continues to expand her game as she’s becoming a “nightmare to defend’ mixing it up off the dribble with a slight “HEZ” to keep the defender off balance yet she also is dropping the mid to long-range jumper effectively but watching her attack and throw blazing passes on the money in traffic is going to help expand her game even more
Margan Allen-5’7 SG (Grand Oaks)
Allen is so smooth and under control yet silently fills up the stat sheet which isn’t easy, nor trying to defend her, stay with me because she’s hard to handle. The creating of her shot looks better and better every time I see her play as her quick release and elevating off the ground gives her an edge yet so does her finishing after contact using very good body control
Chandler Caver-5’8 CG (Hardin Jefferson)
Caver made me a craver to watch her perform when I first caught her 4 years ago, in fact, she wasn’t the only one I have listed but keep in mind, again I am not a novice and her “poise under pressure” early showed me a lot yet as she continues to add more and more, she’s definitely on her way. She creates her shot under pressure and can drop the mid to long-range, she attacks and finishes with either hand, after contact and she defends
