Continue ReadingChampionship trophies have been bestowed upon teams that prevailed in the final games of their respective playoffs across the country. With another high school season in the books, many of the country’s premier talents are taking said talents to another season of travel ball – including our very own Prep Girls Hoops Circuit.
The Victory, Dynasty, Legacy and Triumph Regions are the quintet of regions that will comprise the 2022 rendition of the PGH Circuit. Among those teams that will be taking the court from the Triumph Region is South Carolina-based H2 Lowco.
Rob Benson is in charge of the H2 Lowco operation on the girls side. It includes a 16U roster and a 14U group. Among the events H2 Lowco will be part of is the Knoxville Knockout on April 15-17, Peach Games in Atlanta on May 6-8, the Southeast Slam in Daytona Beach, Florida from May 13-15 and the Triumph Region Finals in Spartanburg, South Carolina from May 27-29.
In addition to being part of H2 Basketball, Benson is also a regular on the Lowco Sports site which covers high school sports in Jasper, Hampton and Beaufort counties in the Palmetto State. H2 Lowco has already taken part in one event in Greenville, South Carolina that saw the 16U team win the tournament championship over Charlotte Dream Elite in that bracket’s gold division.
Without further adieu – here is a look at the 16U and 14U rosters H2 Lowco will present this travel season.

Trinity Mickell Trinity Mickell 6'0" | C Allendale-Fairfax | 2024 State SC – Allendale-Fairfax HS – Mickell is one of the signature players for the frontcourt with Allendale-Fairfax. What she is able to do in near the basket makes her a consistent threat to post double-doubles.
Gracie Henderson – 2024 – John Paul II – Henderson had a pair of high watermarks point-wise this past season when she scored 14 points in a pair of Golden Warriors victories. Both of those wins came against Colleton Prep Academy.
Kiara Wilson Kiara Wilson 5'5" | PG Battery Creek | 2023 State SC – Battery Creek HS – Wilson brough plenty of defensive pressure to the recently completed LBI March Madness event in Concord, North Carolina. She too has also participated in track and field events.
Lexanna Oge – 2024 – Richmond Hill HS (GA) – Oge was one of two sophomores that comprised last season’s Wildcats roster – with the other being her teammate Matthews. They are also the two Georgia representatives for this season’s H2 Lowco 16U squad.
Makiyah Matthews – 2024 – Richmond Hill HS (GA) – One can expect that in any game Matthews plays that she will bring plenty of quickness to the court. A good bit of that stems from her status as a two-sport athlete with the track and field discipline being her second area of athletic competition.
Mackenzie Eickenberry – 2025 – Wando HS – Eickenberry is listed at 5-foot-7 and has shown herself to be versatile with an ability to play as either a guard or a forward. She previously ran on the grassroots circuit with Palmetto 76ers.
Morgan Scott Morgan Scott 5'10" | PF Hilton Head Christian | 2024 State SC – May River HS – Scott was one of several May River Sharks that assumed team captaincy duties this past season. Nadia President Nadia President 5'5" | PG Ashley Ridge | 2025 State SC – Cross HS – One of the many point-getters that has been part of the Trojans’ roster, President is a two sport athlete who has shined every bit as bright on the soccer pitch as she has on the basketball court.
H2 Lowco 14U
Amirah Brown Amirah Brown 5'6" | CG Bluffton | 2027 State SC – 2027 – Bluffton HS – Whenever one makes a high school roster as a seventh grader, it is an indication that a player has a bright future. That was the case for Brown as she was part of a Bobcats team that finished 20-2 this past season.
Anna Kate Taylor – 2026 – Hilton Head Christian – H2 Lowco’s 14U roster is heavy on wing players. Listed at 5-foot-7, Taylor stands as one of the five wings that comprise this year’s 14 bunch.
PJ Benson – 2026 – At last glance, Benson was part of the Coastal HomeSchool roster based in Pembroke, Georgia. She is also one of the six guards that make up the 2022 rendition of H2 Lowco 14U.
Ty Leverette – 2026 – Ridgeland/Hardeeville HS – Listed at 5-foot-9, Leverette is the tallest player on the H2 Lowco 14U roster in addition to being one of the five wings. Out of the 11-person roster, all but three are from the class of 2026.
Genesis Wilson – 2026 – Battery Creek HS – Between her as well as Kiara (also on the H2 Lowco 16U team), good things have happened with the Wilsons on the court for the Dolphins. Her No. 14 for H2 Lowco 14U is the same as her Battery Creek jersey number.
Lila Roberts – 2026 – Hilton Head Prep – One of many examples as to why one cannot simply judge players by class. Roberts may be on the verge of moving into her freshman season in 2022-23, but she can put points on the board as if she were an upperclassman.
Lily Termini – 2026 – John Paul II – If one spots Termini away from the basketball court, there is a good chance she is still participating in some form of athletic competition – whether that is in track and field or as a volleyball player.
Lyric Jones – 2027 – Estill HS – Jones had plenty of games this past season where she finished in double-digits in points. These included a 20-point performance in a Gators win over Royal Live Oaks Academy and 18 in a victory over Bethune-Bowman.
Gabby Moore Gabby Moore 5'4" | PG First Baptist | 2027 State SC – 2027 – In one of the games of the recently concluded LBI March Madness event in Concord, North Carolina. Moore had a big game as she scored 17 points to lift her team to a victory over Sandills Lady Spartans 14U.
Makayla Wilson – 2026 – RiverView Charter – Given RiverView Charter is a kindergarten through eighth grade charter school, basketball fans throughout the area are awaiting where Wilson’s career will take her next. She is sure to be an asset to any team she plays for.
Mills Lucas – 2027 – Patrick Henry Academy – After a number of seniors departed from Patrick Henry Academy following this past season, that creates an opportunity for up-and-comers such as Mills to begin the process of eventually filling those big shoes.
