Addy Johnson Addy Johnson 5'8" | CG Edmond Memorial | 2024 State OK -5’8 SG (Edmond Memorial HS) Team Buddy Buckets 2023
Johnson mixes it up nicely and her ability to score off the dribble gives her room to drop the mid to long-range yet she doesn’t need a lot of room because she can “catch and shoot it” very well and do THAT in the TOP group of teams speaks volumes
Ellie Martin-5’8 SG (Sallisaw HS) Oklahoma Lady Fusion 2023
Martin is long and athletic, that’s the base and it’s impressive what she does at her size. Yeah she rebounds and plays the passing lane, as well as scores off the dribble but her legitimate pull-up jumper, from mid to long-range is smooth and solid
Gentry Baldwin Gentry Baldwin 5'5" | PG Bixby | 2023 State OK -5’5 (Bixby HS) CG Team Griffin Elite 2023 Wernli
Baldwin just gets hers in the flow and she also lets it flow because once it starts flowing, it’s a work of art watching her not only set the defender up with a deceptive first step but drop the jumper with a hand in her face, mid to long-range
Carlee Casteel-5’8 SG (Heritage HS) Shock 2023 Diaz
Casteel understands how to create her shot and watching her do it consistently under pressure already had me a believer yet her long ball is very nice but she also can score off the dribble as well as drop the “stop in pop” midrange jumper in transition
Catyn Graham Catyn Graham 5'9" | SG Pittburg | 2023 State OK -5’9 SG (Pittsburg HS) Lone Star Magic 2023
Graham understands how to let it come to her, she’s heady and picks her times wisely. She doesn’t force anything, well she forces defenders to defend but it ain’t easy when you can “catch and shoot” from, well anywhere
Shamar Bert Shamar Bert 5'7" | SG Putnam City West | 2024 State OK -5’7 SG (PC West) BTR 2023 [2024]
Bert has been impressing me since my hair was all black, guess how many years yet one thing that stood out when I first saw her was her range. It’s even deeper but her release is quick, fluid, and accurate and with a flick of her wrist, she can change the momentum but she also does a good job of mixing off the dribble as well as the midrange
