Alyssa Hankerson Alyssa Hankerson 5'6" | SG Charlotte Country Day (1 of 1 Prep) | 2025 State NC – 2025 – Rock Hill HS Team United 17U-Calhoun – While older sister Laila will have one more go-round at Rock Hill once the 2022-23 campaign tips off, this one will be sporting the Bearcats signature burgundy and black uniforms for the next three seasons. Hankerson is a prolific 3-point shooter who also possesses a knack for driving past defenders and shooting the ball over taller would-be shot blockers. She will also collect a good number of steals and create extra possessions for her team. The 2022 grassroots schedule is her first running under the Team United banner after she sported the colors of FBC Carolina Elite in 2021.
Alana Hankerson Alana Hankerson 5'6" | PG 1 of 1 Prep | 2025 State NC – 2025 – Rock Hill HS – Team United 17U-Calhoun – Speaking of the extra-talented Hankerson sisters, this one is one that hoops aficionados across the Palmetto State will certainly be keeping a close eye on as her career continues to blossom. She practices a great deal on sharpening her shooting stroke and it shows with the shots she takes on the court. Hankerson will also make a great deal of accurate passes – an extension of the court vision she possesses. She certainly plays beyond her years. Her travel career not only includes once wearing the FBC Carolina Elite uniform but also that of the Charleston Lady Wolves before she appeared on the high school scene.
Ni’yonna Asbelle Ni’yonna Asbelle 5'11" | SF Andrew Jackson | 2026 State SC – 2026 – Andrew Jackson HS – Fairplay Select 14U – The 2021-22 regular season will be far from the last time Palmetto State basketball fans hear of Asbelle’s name. After all, that season featured Asbelle playing an important role in getting the Volunteers to the 2A state championship game. Asbelle will find a way to score – whether that is via attacking the rim or by shooting from range. Her ability to rebound compliments what she can do as a scorer. She currently stands at 5-foot-7 and is one of a number of up-and-coming focal points for what is an Andrew Jackson team with an optimistic future.
Khalia Hartwell Khalia Hartwell 6'5" | C Westside | 2027 State SC – 2027 – T.L. Hanna HS – FBC Carolina Hawks Elite 14U Hatten – Hartwell plays well with a lot of heart and a lot of height. She stands at a towering 6-foot-4 – that fact alone will have plenty of fans marveling at what she does in the coming seasons. In addition to her rebounding, scoring and shot blocking capabilities, Hartwell also takes great care of the ball and makes every effort to limit turnovers. Her presence in painted areas also allows her to draw a good bit of contact which can place her at the free throw line. Her frame presents plenty of matchup problems for opponents and that is sure to continue as her career progresses.
