Ava Mcintyre 2025 5’11 Oklahoma Christian School, OK (Team Buddy Buckets 2025)
Ava is a skilled wing who has all the tools on the offensive end of the floor to dominate at all three levels of the floor. She has great ball control, and a real ability to take her opponents off the dribble and get to the rim. Her ability to turn the corner and get two feet into the paint put real pressure on the defense and allowed her to find her open teammates on the outside. She is a smooth and patient finisher in the paint. However her real skill lies in her ability to calmly shoot the basketball despite intense defense. She always seems to calmly rise up and shoot over the top of her defenders from all three levels of the floor. She is willing to use her size to her advantage and take smaller matchups on the block with her back to the basket. She displayed a good use of head fakes out of the post as well. On the defensive end of the floor, she anchors her team’s defense through her action as a help defender in the paint. Her ability to come over and throw away jump shots on the perimeter paired with her ability to play the passing lanes gave her team a multitude of fast break opportunities.
Sarenity Taylor 2025 5’8 Harding Charter Prep School, OK (Lion’s Elite Gold 2025)
Sarenity is a lanky wing who showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and getting to the rim and finishing. She had multiple instances where she faded across the paint and hit tough shots. I was very impressed at her ability to use her size and quickness to get into open space from just outside the restricted area. She sprinted and hung in the air and used her long arms to finish over the top of her opponents. On the defensive end of the floor, she showed an ability to move her feet and keep ball handlers in front of her, while also sliding over and protecting the paint when necessary. She has a lot of high level offensive weapons in her bag, however I would like to see her work on slowing the game down and making the right read every time down the floor. At times, she is a bit sped up and could use to take another dribble rather than fading into a tough shot opportunity.
Emma Doran 2025 5’6 Jim Ned High School, TX (Texas Platinum 2025 NTX National Sissney)
Emma is an aggressive combo guard who is good at crossing over her opponent and getting two feet into the paint. She is great at getting into the lane and making the right decisions, and attacks the rim at a high level. When she has garnered the defense’s attention she made the right pass out to her shooters in the corners and dump off passes to her forwards in the paint. She has a good handle and overall court vision which pairs well with her natural ability to create space off the dribble. Her ability to put the ball on the floor and instantly pressure the defense, makes her a real weapon with the ball in her hands. I would like to see her work on developing a floater or a pull up jumper in the midrange and in the paint. Once she begins to score with more consistency from the perimeter, she will become an even more valuable weapon on the offensive end of the floor.
Olivia Linder Olivia Linder 5'7" | CG Mingo Valley | 2025 OK 2025 5’7 Osiel High School, OK (Team Griffin OK PWR 2025 Aeschelman)
Olivia is an intelligent combo guard who showed off her aggressiveness and her ability to get by seemingly anyone who was in front of her. I was very impressed with the ease in which she took her opponents off the dribble, and turned the corner on them within the half court. She lived in the paint through her ability to get into the lane and put pressure on the defense. She also displayed some real basketball IQ and off ball awareness, she is a willing cutter without the basketball, and always seems to put pressure on the defense with her constant movement. I was very impressed with her ability to finish at the rim, however I would like to see her work on creating more shots for herself off the dribble, especially in the midrange.
