Whitney Smith (Shock 2025) [2026]
Smith has SWB, that’s speed with the ball and as a 2nd grader, the time has flown, she left me dazzled with her ability to go full speed with the ball under control yet she has had a couple of growth spurts and watching her pinpoint passes in traffic as well as slicing to the rim from countless angles to score or dish had me smiling, so did her jumper as well as playing the passing lane
Addilyn Johnson (AOH 2027) [2030]
Johnson is in the 5th grade playing up yet I was impressed even before I found that out. She creates her shot under pressure and can knock it down, mid to long-range yet she gracefully attacks the basket by sending the defender up and she did a move that was so quick that it helped pop my neck back into place. She is poised and under control, she sees the floor, and let me go ahead right now and add her to the countless elementary school players I’ve dropped #D1Lock on
Angel Green (AOH 2027)
Green had me seeing red when I caught her last year at the Hoop 10 Individual Showcase registration filled with energy just signing up so I asked her “can you play” she responded “you’ll see” and for me, that just did it but her upside is super scary, she dazzles defenders attacking the basket with a variety of moves, especially in the open court and her acrobatic finishes at this stage has me SMH. The jumper is sweet, so is her defense
Aliviah Daniels (GOC 2026)
Daniels stop and pop was one of the best at the event, she shoots it with confidence, her shot is fluid and her release is quick yet let me drop the #THROWBACK because guess what, she follows her shot, that in itself had me smiling from ear to ear, well so did her playing the passing lane. She understands how to set the defender up, attacks the rim with either hand
Ti’Heiress Davis (GOC 2026)
Davis is so strong and powerful when she attacks the basket and observing her take the lick and finish puts her in that “and one” waiting to happen category. I love her jumper, she elevates over the defender yet she also is vocal on both ends of the court, solid “on the ball” defense is nice, so is her rebounding on both ends but that “playing the passing lane” and handling the ball in the open court to score as well as use her court vision to hit teammates on the money are all huge
Angie Nunley (HG Elite 2025) [2026]
Nunley gave me my first look at the “baby” and when you wear 24, one of my favorite free TV series, I just get amped but she’s athletic and strong, attacks the basket strong, and can finish after contact. She also did a good job handling the ball and seeing the floor yet her pull-up jumper was really nice and is going to create some problems. Solid defender, on the ball, and plays the passing lane, huge upside
Saania Khawaja (Competitve Edge) 2024 [2027]
Khawaja left me speechless with another team last season and I’ve had a chance to catch her at numerous Individual Showcase events since then so her ability to play against older players and stand out speaks volumes. She plays within herself, can score off the dribble as well as drop the mid to long-range and her upside is pretty high, trust me because she thinks the game and can take over at the drop of a dime, she drops dimes too
