Sunday, August 28th, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana hosted its first-ever Freshman Showcase. The event, which took place at Fishers High School, included exactly 100 registered participants, all from the 2026 class. I have already highlighted a handful of standouts in a couple of previous articles, but I also wanted to take the time to circle back and discuss many of the other girls who participated in the showcase. Also, once again, I want to thank all of the players, parents, and support staff who made this event a success!

TEAM 5:
#29 - [player_tooltip player_id='486546' first='Kendall' last='McLaughlin'] - Homestead H.S. - Kendall is a strong, competitive wing with a great motor. She's a solid North/South athlete, she has a balanced skillset and can knock down shots, plus she has shown a good basketball IQ.

#38 - [player_tooltip player_id='486509' first='Maya' last='Layton'] - Faith Christian School - Maya is a talent and has shown tremendous playmaking ability all Spring & Summer. She has great length, wiry strength, speed, and quickness. She also flashes high-level defensive potential.

#224 - [player_tooltip player_id='486500' first='Elise' last='Coleman'] - Floyd Central H.S. - Elise is a strong, versatile wing with multilevel potential. She is strong enough to rebound/defend inside, when necessary, plus she has touch outside and a nice, change-of-direction handle.

#380 - [player_tooltip player_id='420275' first='Lexi' last='Primus'] - North Knox H.S. - Lexi is a long, fluid athlete who plays with a good motor at all times. She can shoot it from the perimeter, plus she is intriguing because it looks like she could still grow a couple of inches.

#448 - [player_tooltip player_id='486518' first='Swynn' last='Jackson'] - Fort Wayne Northrop H.S. - see event eval here

#450 - [player_tooltip player_id='486556' first='Igboamaka' last='Odeluga'] - Munster H.S. - Igbo is more athlete than ballplayer right now, but she has a great deal of upside because she can run, jump, and she has a strong, almost muscular frame. With a little skill work, watch out.

#457 - [player_tooltip player_id='486537' first='Naja' last='Winston'] - Decatur Central H.S. - see event eval here

#471 - [player_tooltip player_id='486484' first='Emily' last='Parker'] - Boonville H.S. - Emily is a nicely skilled and intelligent wing. She has a pretty jumper and can knock down shots to the 3-point line. She has creativity and a solid handle, so she can play a point forward role as well.

#491 - [player_tooltip player_id='486474' first='Nylah' last='Peoples'] - Lawrence North H.S. - Nylah was strong and productive Sunday. She has an athletic frame, length, and she moves fairly well in most directions. She's more of a rebounder/defender but has a developing offensive game.

TEAM 6:
#131 - [player_tooltip player_id='486510' first='Jada' last='Miller'] - Seymour H.S. - Jada has a solid to strong frame, she is physical for a wing forward, and she plays with an outstanding motor. She flashed some perimeter skill, but she still looks most comfortable in the mid-post.

#388 - [player_tooltip player_id='486485' first='Blair' last='Satterfield'] - Hamilton Southeastern H.S. - I first saw Blair this Spring, and I continue to enjoy her awareness and IQ for the game. She plays beyond her years, plus she has a nice, balanced, traditional point guard skillset.

#391 - [player_tooltip player_id='486501' first='Ellie' last='Frobig'] - Carmel H.S. - Ellie is a solidly built, wiry-strong wing guard with some length. She plays with a nice motor and seems to understand the game fairly well. She shot it well outside, plus she can handle it a little.

#394 - [player_tooltip player_id='486475' first='Mamie' last='Trout'] - Pendleton Heights H.S. - Mamie has a solid to strong frame, she plays with a nice motor, and she showed some versatility. She can play a little around the perimeter or use her strength in the mid-post.

#409 - [player_tooltip player_id='486528' first='Laniah' last='Davis'] - Marquette Catholic H.S. - Laniah is a strong, physical wing athlete. She has nice quickness and a little bounce, and she shows a lot of versatility. She can create as a point forward, knock down shots, and she'll rebound.

#432 - [player_tooltip player_id='486557' first='Zoey' last='Wilde'] - Bloomington Normal H.S. (IL) - Zoey is a little guard, but she was one of the more entertaining players to watch. She is extremely quick/fast, feisty, and creative. She consistently gapped defenses for scores/assists.

#440 - [player_tooltip player_id='486538' first='Trinity' last='Wilburn'] - Faith Christian School - see event eval here

#497 - [player_tooltip player_id='486519' first='Katherine' last='Reed'] - Washington H.S. - see event eval here
