Athletes participated in skills work, 1v1 tournament, 3-point tournament, 5 on 5 game scenarios, and 5 on 5 scrimmages. The players listed below made their mark and stood out to me, and I enjoyed watching them put in work!
Preslee Hartsock Preslee Hartsock 5'6" | PG Community Christian | 2025 State OK | PG / 5-4 | Community Christian Academy | 2025
Preslee has the framework and talent to become a high-level player. She is quick, has solid handles, and is a vocal leader. She is fearless when the ball is in her hands and will use her speed to explode pass defenders. She plays strong and uses her body well to create contact and has pretty good footwork in the paint against players her size. She will push the ball and advance it to ready shooters in transition, and will attack the basket when pressured. She is also an active defender, playing the passing lane and pressuring the ball with the best of them.
Kylie Ross Kylie Ross 5'5" | PG Mt. St. Mary | 2025 State OK | PG / 5-5 | Mount St Mary Catholic HS | 2025
Kylie is a cool, calm, and collected type of player on the court. She directs traffic like a floor general and is a high-IQ type of player. Defensively, she is locked in and stays in front of the ball while using her instincts to read the passing lane and help-side rotation off the ball. She is a ready shooter and has a capacity to go on a shooting streak and once she is hot, good luck cooling her off. Kylie stole the show when she made a shocking 8 three-pointers in a 15-minute game session. She let it fly with no hesitation and it didn’t matter if the defender had a hand in her face or not, soon and the ball left her hands there was no stopping the ball from hitting nothing but the bottom of the net.
Blythe Crawley | CG / 5-6 | Westmoore HS | 2025
Blythe is a smooth player that has the skills to pay the bills. She handles the ball like it’s a on string, has good body control, and knows how to keep her defender off balance. She has a good mid-range shot, and shoots it pretty well from deep. She will run the floor and score in transition, and can attack the basket in traffic. She is a fun player to watch because she plays basketball the right way, and has a good time on the court.
Lilly Thomas Lilly Thomas 6'1" | PF El Reno | 2025 State OK | C / 6-1 | El Reno HS | 2025
Lilly is a force to be reckoned with. She has great size, maintains good inside position, and uses her strength and body to dominate opponents. Her skills in the paint are rare for a player her size. She has good footwork and her pivot game is her secret sauce. She will back you down and finish over both shoulders, the defenders have no chance of stopping her. She is also a great passer and uses her length to find the open teammates once the double comes. She dominates the glass and runs the floor for easy buckets.
Kate Klimisch Kate Klimisch 5'6" | PG Bishop Kelley | 2025 State OK | CG / 5-5 | Bishop Kelly | 2025
Kate is a very explosive player that is exciting to watch. She has quick handles and hesitations that consistently keeps the defense off balance. She is aggressive downhill off the dribble, and can finish with a strong take at the basket or a floater over the defense. One of my favorite qualities of her game is her ability to create space for her shot. Another part of her game I like is her willingness to work on defense and give maximum effort.
