These players came to compete and you could see their hard work shine through when they stepped on the court. Let’s look at some of the 2025 prospects from this past weekend!
Pantaliono has a lot of quickness and she made a lot of smart plays. She runs the floor extremely well. She was handling the ball and she made a number of good passes. She also looked really good defensively. At one point, Pantaliono got a great steal, and she followed that with a perfect pass to her teammate for an easy basket.
Highlights
Duck was one of the quickest, most electric players on the floor. She can handle the ball, she can score the ball, she can create, and she can defend. She was able to get by defenders with one move, and she did that multiple times. She can knock down shots or get to the rim. Duck made some great passes as well.
Popham is always such a solid player. When you really watch her play, you see how much she works to do all of the little things. She plays so hard and she is the definition of a team player. Popham makes great passes and can handle the ball. She can also knock down shots or drive to the basket.
Highlights
Campbell is the furthest thing from a selfish player. She can knock down 3s or score in other ways, but I always walk away extremely impressed by the way she gets the ball to her teammates. She sees the floor so well and she delivers passes right to the chest. Campbell handles the ball and defends well also. She is a very solid player and she continues to expand her game every time I watch her.
Highlights
Huffines has really good length and she consistently runs the floor. It was impossible to not notice her out there because she was so active on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she was able to get deflections, steals, and blocks. Offensively, she has a good shot and can get to the rim on her drives. She also can score in the mid-range.
Highlights
Ridderikhoff can shoot the ball and she can shoot it from deep range. Even when she’s not hitting, you can see how smooth her jumper is.The lefty catches the ball and can get her shot off even with a defender running at her, but she can also finish in the paint. Ridderikhoff was doing a really good job crashing the boards consistently as well.
Morris is always solid. The way she can score on players much taller than her is impressive. She gets good elevation on her pull-up jumpers and she can finish well around the basket. Morris is a really good rebounder and she has good hands. She runs the floor and is really good in transition.
Kincaid was one of the most active bigs I saw on Saturday. She is extremely long and she has good speed. Kincaid’s ability to spread the floor is unique. She can hit shots from the mid-range with a defender guarding her by simply keeping the ball up and elevating over them. She also made some excellent passes to her teammates, and did a great job in transition.
Hall has excellent length and height. She also has good hands. Defensively, she works to get good positioning and she can alter shots with how long she is. Offensively, she showed her ability to finish in the paint or around the rim. She also was good on the boards, made good outlet passes, and she can handle the ball well for a big.
Highlights
Packer has so much potential. Her height and length can’t be taught, but she clearly puts in the work to be the player she is. She goes and gets rebounds really well, but I loved the way she worked to get those rebounds. When she gets the ball down low, she has various moves that she can turn to and she has good touch around the rim.
Highlights
Yates knocked down a lot of shots on Saturday. She was ready to shoot as soon as she caught the ball and she did a great job of recognizing when the shot was there versus when it wasn’t. Yates also recognized where the openings were on the perimeter and she was moving well without the ball. She has deep range and was one of the most impressive shooters overall from the expo.
Highlights
Soutar has great length and she runs the floor really well. She works defensively to make it difficult for the offense to get clean looks at the basket. Soutar does a good job on the boards and she consistently tried to get her hands on the ball as soon as it came off of the rim. While Soutar has good touch around the basket, she also has a good shot and she can handle the ball, so she can really stretch the defense.
