The class of 2026 has entered high school and will suit it up as Freshman this season and as they transition from travel ball to prep ball, these are the top 10 players in the state based on the first release of the class of 2026 rankings. Check out the NEW Top 10!
Taniyah Davis Taniyah Davis 5'8" | PG American Heritage | 2026 State FL (Chaminade Madonna / Florida Lady Huskies) – 5’8 Wing
Ranking: # 1
Davis is tough. She is long, tall, athletic, skilled and very difficult to defend. She can score in every way and her game is very mature for her age. If she is knocking down 3s at a high percentage she is impossible to stop. She is a high level BCS prospect that is # 1 in the class of 2026!
Ciara Hayes Ciara Hayes 5'5" | PG Faith Christian Academy | 2026 State FL (Faith Christian Academy / Central Florida Elite) – 5’5 Guard
Ranking: # 2
Hayes is a dynamic playmaker who puts the ball in the basket with east! She can play both guard positions, distributing the ball as a point guard, creating opportunities for her teammates to score while also playing off the ball, knocking down open 3s and ripping to the rim. She has consistently played up throughout her travel career and can compete and succeed against players 2-3 years older than her. She is one of the classes most talented players!
Jasleen Green Jasleen Green 5'9" | SF American Heritage (Plantation) | 2026 State FL (American Heritage / FGB South Florida) – 5’9 Wing
Ranking: # 3
Green has a strong, athletic build and is a live body. She was a new face to the exposure scene for me this spring / summer and threw herself right into the top 5 of the initial class of 2026 rankings coming in at the # 3 spot. Green has the build of a big time BCS prospect and the potential to be a 4 year varsity player and one the state’s top prospects.
Jaelyn Housey Jaelyn Housey 5'9" | PG Nova | 2026 State FL (Chaminade Madonna / Florida Lady Huskies) – 5’9 Point Guard
Ranking: # 4
Housey has the best build in the class of 2026 to jump right into high school ball and compete. Her strong, athletic build with her broad shoulders allow her to compete against players 2-3 years older than her and not be at a disadvantage. Her body, matched with her skill make her one the state’s top Freshman coming in at # 4 in the class of 2026.
Karolina Ramirez Karolina Ramirez 5'6" | PG The Benjamin | 2026 State FL (Benjamin School / G Nation) – 5’6 Point Guard
Ranking: # 5
Ramirez has been someone we have tracked for several years now. She has a very unassuming court presence letting her skill and production do the talking. She handles the ball on a string, knocks down open 3s, creates and attacks the paint, getting by her defenders and scoring at the rim. She has the best handle of anyone in the class of 2026 and has big time potential and is a name that college coaches need to get familiar with early!
Stephanie Vega Stephanie Vega 5'7" | SF Somerset Silver Palms | 2026 State FL (Somerset Silver Palms / Miami Impact) – 5’7 Wing
Ranking: # 6
Vega is the class of 2026s top 3-point shooter, letting it fly from anywhere inside half court! She plays with a confidence and cockiness that is mature for her age, competing at the varsity level all throughout high school. Vega’s deep range really helps space the floor. Vega shoots better than 50% from 3, when left open in the corner off penetration and kick. Not just a shooter, Vega has crafty handle, and can shot fake and take it to the rim as well!
Kailani Merrell Kailani Merrell 6'0" | PG Spruce Creek | 2026 State FL (Spruce Creek / East Coast United) – 6’0 Point Guard
Ranking: # 7
Merrell has elite size for a point guard and uses it well to score at the rim and let it fly from the perimeter. Her 6’0 build makes her the biggest guard in the class of 2026. Her elite size combined with her overall skill set, make her one of the most intriguing prospects in the class with the biggest ceiling.
Tatyana Campise Pinkney (Boca Raton / Florida Lady Huskies) – 5’7 Guard
Ranking: # 8
Pinkney is a big stock riser in my opinion, moving up inside the top 10 rankings, coming in at # 8 overall in the class of 2026. She is strong, versatile and has a well-rounded offensive skill set. She can knock down open 3s and put the ball to the floor and attack the rim.
France Garilus France Garilus 6'0" | PF Meadowbrook | 2026 State FL (Meadowbrook / TNBA Florida South) – 6’0 Forward
Ranking: # 9
Garilus is the top ranked post player in the class of 2026. She is strong and aggressive and a big presence in the paint. It is a guard’s game but Garilus is impactful down low. Her strong build is hard to move off the block and out of the paint when she establishes low post position. She currently is bigger and stronger than everyone on the court and should she continue to progress will be one of the most coveted players in the class of 2026!
Alanna Tatum Alanna Tatum 5'6" | PG University Christian | 2026 State FL (University Christian / East Coast United) – 5’6 Point Guard
Ranking: # 10
Tatum is a quick, feisty guard with an explosive first step and nifty ball handling skills. She is a scoring point guard who is a playmaker. She plays downhill, aggressively attacking the rim, scoring often as well as getting to the free throw line. At 5’6, she is smaller than most of her opponents but plays bigger than her size and carries herself with a ton of confidence!
