Unfortunately Simpson will miss this season due to injury, but if you’ve seen her play, you know exactly why she’s so high on this list. She has already committed to the University of Dayton. Simpson is one of the most athletic playmakers in the midwest. She can play on or off the ball and makes herself a constant threat to score in either situation. Simpson can change pace and change direction at anytime, putting her defenders at an instant disadvantage.

Miller is that rare type of prospect that stepped into the high school game with an incredibly well rounded skill set. She carries the versatility to be effective both on and off the ball. Miller has a lethal jumper with definite 3 point range, but is just as dangerous of a passer. She has great court vision that allows her to see the action and recognize when teammates will be open. Miller can pass on the move as well as hit teammates in stride. The sky is the limit for this talented player.

McClain is recovering from an injury, but still deserves a spot this high on the list. She’s an elite athlete and a double-double machine. McClain has excellent length and uses it well. She’s incredibly active and bouncy under the rim, helping her get put back buckets on the regular and limit possessions to 1 shot for her opponents. I like that McClain can put the ball on the floor for quick 2-3 dribble drives where she puts her defender on her hip and finishes with creativity.

Reynolds is the type of player that a college coach can build a program around. Not just with her skillset, but with her leadership and the way that she plays the game in general. She’s a team first player that makes those around her better and stronger. Reynolds plays with a confidence in her teammates and a desire to contribute to their success. All that being said, Reynolds also carries that takeover ability that’s rare to find at any level. When her team needs her to dominate, she’s shown that she can do just that.

If you’ve read my writing for a while now, you probably know how high I am on this young athletes game. Bonner has that ‘it factor’. She’s a walking highlight reel that plays with energy, excitement, and confidence. Bonner flat out knows that she can and will make special plays. That confidence is contagious, helping teammates to play with that same belief and swagger. Best of all, Bonner is a winner. She expects to win every time out on the floor.
