I'm continuing to look through classes in Iowa, and today we're looking at 2A schools. Some teams are off to excellent starts on the season, and today we'll look at some of the kids who can make a difference in the postseason.

The South Dakota commit is one of the best shooters in the region, and when she gets in a rhythm, there isn't much a defense can do to slow her down. Klosterbuer has all the confidence to shoot from anywhere. Teams guard her 25-30 feet from the basket because she can hurt you from out there. Kids who bend defenses that much are fun to watch because she is dynamic enough that the other nine players on the floor react to things she does with the ball.

Having a big with athleticism and skilled as Petersen is more important than you can imagine. Her ability to do different things as a screener in the pick and roll is more helpful than anything else she can do on the floor. Petersen can catch on the roll and pass out of it, finish through contact, or set serious screens that open up the court for the ball-handler. Having a kid you can trust going to the basket is indispensable.

[player_tooltip player_id='342204' first='Clara' last='Teigland']

Athletes in the open floor are extremley dangerous, and Teigland is no different. The Cardinal has a burst that few kids have, and when she gets in transition, there isn't much that you can do to slow her down. Teigland can handle the ball, force the issue in transition and create straightforward scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her athleticism is excellent, and her ability to dribble the ball while going as fast as possible is a skill in and of itself. Even when she's flying up and down the floor, she's in control.

[player_tooltip player_id='127610' first='Madison' last='Brouwer']

The Sibley-Ocheyedan forward is a kid who controls the area around the basket. Brouwer's ability to rebound the ball helps her team finish off defensive possessions and creates chances to score in transition. She also does a solid job finishing through contact. I think she has a good feel around the basket and is uber-confident when she can get to her left shoulder. Brouwer's motor also runs high whenever she's on the floor. She chases after every loose ball and doesn't give up on plays at any point during a game.
