Freshman you should know

She has good hands and rarely looses the ball once she gets it. She finishes strong in the paint. She rebounds and makes good outlet passes. She uses that length to be an excellent shot blocker. She is quick enough to follow the ball and her timing is great. She is an active player with a huge upside. Her ability to defend multiple spots and change or block shots is game changing type talent. She has some of the best raw skills I have seen for her size. As a freshman, she leaves a lot to like when you watch her play. There is next level talent here. She has a all the skills you want in a guard and plays with a lot of confidence. She is a good three point shooter with at least 20 made so far this season and a decent percentage. She isn't one of the main scoring options but she is a capable scorer. Chiawana is young and talented led by a couple sophomore players who I have written about in an earlier article. She moves her feet well for a post player and is a good team defender. She has had some double double games on a good team in Class 1A.
