Kroymann, a long and athletic combo forward, put up some great numbers for her Maquoketa high school team this year. The Cardinals finished with an overall 13-10 record while she averaged 15.9 PPG, and 7.2 RPG from her spot in the middle. This scoring was exceptionally good for her class, she comes into this update with the 5th most points recorded amongst the 2026 class this previous season. She is a solid talent with a high ceiling and a lot of room to become even better. On offensive she is efficient around the hoop, that is obvious by her 49% shooting percentage from the field this year to go along with those 16 PPG. On defense she does a good job of holding her own. She is long enough to come from the help side and alter someones shot or get a deflection if her teammates gets beaten to the basket. The future is bright for the Cardinals and Kroymannm. Over the next few seasons I expect them to really get it together and make some big runs toward the state tournament, until then they will keep on working.

Reagan Baldwin Reagan Baldwin 6’0″ | C West Des Moines Valley | 2026 State IA expanded her game past the three point line in the off-season previous to her freshman year, showing that she is now a three level scorer on the offensive end of the floor. Baldwin, a 6’2 center, came into her freshman season knowing that she could dominate near the basket but could she do even more than that? She has shown everyone that she can, and that she can do it efficiently. This past season she averaged just above 16 PPG while shooting the ball 41.3% from the field and 92% from the free throw line. These numbers do a great job of showing how efficient she was on the offensive side of things for the Jayettes. As she gets older and gets more of a prominate role with her high school team, that’s when she will shine and have some really incredible stat lines for a complete season. Going forward I expect her to polish up her game in the off-season while adding a new move or two. The more and more she can build on her game, the better she is going to be in the long run and the more interest she will receive from some big-name college programs. Something very do-able for Baldwin.
Izzy Eisbach Izzy Eisbach 5’9″ | SG Nodaway Valley | 2026 State IA isn’t a new name to this group but really did a great job of showing out this season for her freshman year at Nodaway Valley high school. Eisbach is a combo guard with a really nice game. She has an experienced-style of play while keeping everything in front of her and in control. She can play quick while keeping everything at the pace that will benefit her and her team. Her ability to handle is solid as she does a good job of protecting the ball on an attack move going towards the rim on a consistent basis. On her high school team she has another star in the form of another guard playing her position, when those situations happen it can be hard to shine through but not in Izzy’s case as she found a way this year of making her stamp on that varsity team. For the next few seasons the backcourt of Nodaway Valley is going to be a problem for other teams and a key player in all of that is Eisbach. I’m excited to see how she grows in the off-season and how her AAU campaign will go. This is definitely a player to keep your eye on in the 2026 class.

Claire King Claire King 5’4″ | PG Wahlert Catholic | 2026 State IA came into her freshman year with the intention of trying to help her program win some games, throughout the season she did that and much, much more to help her Walhert Catholic high school team to an overall 18-7 record. King didn’t start this season and only got about 75 shot attempts on the year but when she was on the floor, she showed some promise. She is smaller in size but she doesn’t let that define her. She has a quick shot with nice balance and good footwork. This season she shot didn’t fall a whole lot but I think it was a comfort thing. When she sees the floor more and gets a little bit more comfortable at the varsity level, those numbers will pump up. This off-season she will work on expanding her offensive game to all three-levels while getting a little stronger, if she can do that then moving forward I can see her moving up in these rankings and being a real contributor to a team in the Golden Eagles. A team who could make it to the state tournament over the next few seasons with King on the roster they have on hand.
