Today we released the Spring rankings update for the Class of 2025. There were 12 new additions in total, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. We have also changed formats to make rankings more exclusive, therefore at this time we are ranking just 75 players in the Class of 2025, with the rest being placed on a watchlist of 85 players. At some point in the near future, those 75 ranked spots will expand to 100. That will likely either be June 1st or September 1st. In the meantime, I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the listed prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 31 2-guard prospects who make up 19.4% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

NEW ADDITIONS:
Kanyonrae Kenny Kanyonrae Kenny 5'9" | SG Mt. Vernon (Fortville) | 2025 State IN , Mt. Vernon – Long, wiry, fluid, and athletic wing. Makes plays off the bounce but can knock down the occasional jumper.
Delaney Steers Delaney Steers 5'9" | SF Brownsburg | 2025 IN , Evansville Central – Solid athlete, strong for age, and attacks the basket aggressively off the bounce. Shoots it a little, too.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
Ava is a long, wiry-strong guard who looks noticeably stronger and more confident this Spring. She can put it on the floor and attack the basket a little bit, but she is a good shooter from the perimeter if she can find any rhythm. As she continues getting stronger, I’d anticipate her being a more consistent multilevel scorer. She does use her length well at the defensive end of the floor. If she can make her handle more dynamic and become more of a combo guard, that could help as well.
Highlights
Kassie was great this Winter for the Lady Cardinals, and I’d look for her to only continue building that momentum throughout the Spring and Summer. She has a fairly strong frame, and she’s an aggressive North/South attacker. Being able to change directions quicker will be advantageous for her in the future. She did show the ability to make shots at all three levels this past season, though, and I’m anxious to see her play more this Spring.
