Below are some players from their 14U and 15U teams that you should know going into July and the high school season this winter.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Clara Welker Clara Welker 6'0" | CG Millard North | 2026 State NE – 2026 – 6’0 FT – CG – Millard North High School
Clara Welker Clara Welker 6'0" | CG Millard North | 2026 State NE is a player to know out of the state of Nebraska. Welker is a 6FT combo guard who has a lot of skill. She has nice size and strength for her age while being able to spread the floor and knock down a three pointer or put the ball on the ground to finish at the rim. When you look at her overall game it’s impressive to say the least. She is a lefty with a knock down shot from behind the arc while being crafty enough to switch it up and finish over smaller defenders. Watch out for Welker the rest of this AAU season leading into her Sophomore year at Millard North high school this winter, she is sure to impress.
Kylee Paben Kylee Paben 6'1" | SF Millard West | 2026 State NE – 2026 – 6’0 FT – SF – Millard West High School
Kylee Paben Kylee Paben 6'1" | SF Millard West | 2026 State NE is a 6FT forward who understands her role and position to a T. She works the paint area like an expect, usually ending in a successful bucket by herself or an open teammates by the rim. When she catches with her back to the basket in the mid-post area is when she is at her best. She can spin either way off of her opponent and finish with either hand on either side of the basket. She also possesses great body control when going up for an attempt while welcoming contact. Paben really has put together a nice overall game and I expect that to show out the rest of this spring leading into the high school season.
Izzie Galligan Izzie Galligan 5'9" | SG Millard North | 2026 State NE – 2026 – 5’9 FT – SG – Millard North High School
Izzie Galligan Izzie Galligan 5'9" | SG Millard North | 2026 State NE would be considered a combo guard in the idea that she can play the 1 or the 2 position for whatever team she is lacing up for. Galligan is a smooth shooting righty, who has a uniform and balanced shooting stroke. Whenever she catches she is ready to let it fly with-out hesitation. In transition she does a great job of not settling and getting all the way to the basket. She understands to push the ball to the middle of the floor and look for open teammates from there. Millard North is going to be loaded again this winter and a part of that is due to the play of Galligan. I’ll be excited to see what her and her teammates can put together for the 23-24′ season.
Allijah Stabler – 2027 – 5’6 FT – PG – Beatrice High School
Allijah Stabler is a player that I’ve watched a few times now and let me tell you something. This one has a strong game with a fairly high ceiling moving forward into the high school scene this winter. Stabler stands at about 5’6 and is a coaches ideal point guard. A player who can pass in the full court and half court, score from all three levels, defend anyone else playing the 1-3 position, and rebound better than most as a guard. She has an aggressive but calculated game-style that is fun to watch. Moving forward I would know the name of Stabler going into this winter. She is going to be a player to put up some big numbers and memorable games, when given the opportunity on the varsity floor. No doubt about it.
Harper Bohaboj – 2027 – 5’5 FT – PG/SG – Bennington High School
Harper Bohaboj is one of the fastest players I have seen this spring. Bohaboj comes into high school at around 5’5 in height but I don’t see that being too much of an issue as she is one of the hardest working and smartest players on the floor whenever she is participating. Not to mention that her overall skill for the game is there. She understands to beat her opponents with speed and then come to a jump stop in the middle of the lane, so that she can be as efficient as possible at finishing at the rim. On the flip side, she defends with everything she has, every possession. She understands how to play help side and when to go for a steal VS to sit back and wait for the offensive to make the first move at her. All in all, I expect Harper and Bennington high school to have a nice year. If they work hard and everyone dedicates themselves to the season as a team, it’s going to be a good one in the long run for this group.
