Luvan is a quick guard, who is getting better year-in and year-out. Each season that she steps on the floor she seems to get better and better, showing steady and consistent improvement. I think once Luvan walks on the high school court and gets some confidence under her feet, she is going to be a game changer. A player that will consistently produce for her high school program, over the next few seasons, in more than one way. Now all she has to do is go out, trust in her work, and make it happen. Banks is a mix of a point guard and shooting guard. She handles like a point guard, with the spot up ability of a shooting guard to let it go from deep behind the three point line. She displays great shot form with a nice follow through on every catch-and-shoot situation she comes across. Van Meter is a good high school program with some talent. With that being said, I still think Banks finds her way onto the varsity floor this season. Even if it's just for some spot minutes to get her warmed up, she is a player who could produce at the varsity level, today. It's not just how some players produce when it comes to the numbers, but do they pass the u0022eyeu0022 test when you watch them live. Do they look like a player? Do they move fluidly like a player? Do they display basketball sense like a player? Well, in the conversation of [player_tooltip player_id='677844' first='Callie' last='Hales'], she is a basketball player who passes the eye test with flying colors. Hales, a lefty point guard, can score and distribute at a high rate. When watching her leading up to this season, the competition level for Hales in middle school has always seemed too easy. I'm excited to see her come into Gilbert high school this winter, and take control of this program. This season is going to be big for her because it's really going to show me what she can do on the high school stage, against some real competition. A challenge Hale is more then ready for.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["677845"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='677845' first='Samantha' last='Reis'] is only coming into her freshman year as a player for the DCG Mustangs but over the next few seasons, I expect Reis to step up and take the place of her older sister after this season, becoming the programs knock down shooter from deep. Reis, is a lengthy guard, who moves well down the floor. She does a great job of working harder than the player across from her, and keeping things simple. She lets the game come to her and because of that, she has a lot of success with the ball in her hands. Once again, this DCG Mustangs team is loaded and coming off of a state championship. Will freshman see a ton of minutes? Most likely no, but that just means that everyone is going to have to make the most of their opportunities when they get on the court, Reis included. Weite, is a 5'8 combo guard, who can play defense on a smaller player or bigger forward, depending on what is being asked of her by her team. Offensively, she is a player who can make some things happen with her scoring and passing at times. This winter Weite is going to join up with a high school team in the Valley Tigers, that is going to be a contender for a state championship. Their varsity roster has size, skill, and smarts when it comes to the game, they just have to put it together. Again, this is another situation where I am not sure if Weite is going to see a ton of varsity time right away but over the next few years, I expect some big things out of this one.
