Locking up on some big time offers since our last update, Danyella is showing strides in the right direction. The ability to score was apparent, the energy and attitude to defend whoever was there too.. however this AAU season I was able to see Danyella play off the ball a little bit and see if she was able to be just as impactful without being the dominant ball handler… and she can. The D1 interest that she’s getting is no fluke.. this kid can play the game.
Multiple coaches and scouts have reached out about this kid.. and that’s when I knew I had made a mistake and that her ceiling is much higher than my previous thoughts. She has been named the best 2026 in most buildings that she’s played in, and the talent that her program matches up against is top tier. Size has no meaning, cause James can go at anyone, and that’s on both sides. Defensively she’s a menace and can be physical with the 1 and 2 guards. I’m expecting her recruitment to take a huge leap this upcoming season.
Lexi has been on the up in every tournament that I’ve seen her in, and coaches at the top level seem to agree. She’s picked a couple offers over this spring/fall period and im assuming that there will be more soon. Regardless if she has breakout games or multiple three pointers.. she is built like the new era player, which gives her tremendous upside. Tall, strong and versatile enough to be impactful in multiple positions. She is a sniper behind the arc, and can finish around the rim in a variety of ways. Great potential.
Securing a invite to her nationals (Great Britain) team.. Briggs size and skillet has been the reason to the attention she’s getting. Built like a 4/5, but has the qualities of a impactful 2/3 .. Emma can be one of the most versatile players on the court at any given moment. Aggressive on the drive, can be solid and strong in the post and has the speed and agility to keep up with guards on the defense and the size to deal with bigs on the block. High upside.
Highlights
Jones secured an offer earlier in the season, and if you’re going off straight potential then it’s completely warranted. She still has this raw and untapped type of game, but her built is perfect for a stretch four at the next level. As her game starts to connect and she finds her rhythm on what type of player she’ll become, i think Chelise will be another household name out of Whitney Young.
Breaking records in your freshman year is no easy task, and DeJesus did just that this past high school season. A lot of potential comes with Dalia, she can score around the rim.. defend the paint with consistency and doesn’t need all the extra stuff to score the ball. She’s a three level headaches, and the kid is no where near her peak. A key player to keep an eye on as HS ball starts up. Huge upside.
