In this article we “Keep it 100” as we look at some of the top 100 prospects who reside on the First Coast of Florida (Duval, Clay, St Johns, Nassau, etc).
Abby Knauff Abby Knauff 5'9" | SG Bolles | 2025 State FL 19.1 points, 5 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 94 threes
Knauff is one of best basketball players in the state of Florida in any class. When she was still in the eighth grade, her coach told me she had a incoming ninth grader who could lead the team in scoring and that she was one of the best players to come through the First Coast in a long time. Not only did she lead her team, she was also in consideration for player of the year in the state of Florida. As a Sophomore, Knauff averaged 19.1 points per game and connected on 94 threes. And she’s been lighting it up ever since. Knauff does more than score. She is athletic, she can rebound, and can play defense. This could be the year for “player of the year.” Either way, she will be in contention.
Jolena Gardner Jolena Gardner 6'0" | SF Columbia | 2025 State FL 10 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 3.9 steals
Gardner has it all and is one of the top athletes in the 2025 class and Florida. Gardner has the combination of speed, size, and athleticism and she can ball. Gardner is versatile and can play on the wing and also go down low. She can handle the ball on offense and in press break and can shoot from anywhere on the floor. She can play all 5 positions on the court, and is one of the best players in the area and that’s “keeping it 100.”
Kendall Kane Kendall Kane 6'0" | SF Beachside | 2025 State FL 6.2 points, 23 threes.
Kane is one of the top 2025 players in the State and will be playing again on the First Coast this season. Kane can shoot the 3 about as good as anyone and can also drive the ball to the rim. She has size, game, and a ton of experience. She is poised to make an immediate impression at Beachside. If they weren’t already in playoff contention, they certainly are now.
Janai Jordan Janai Jordan 5'9" | PG Providence Jacksonville Florida | 2025 State FL 10.3 points, 4 6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 17 threes
Jordan is one serious baller that the First Coast had better be aware of it. She has got the shooting, the handles, the quickness, the work ethic, and “the moment.” With the departure of Senior Ella Ortman, Jordan will lead a very talented Providence team this season. She could possibly be one of the top scoring guards on the First Coast. She has that much talent and that much game.
Jadynn Spivey Jadynn Spivey 5'9" | SG Creekside | 2025 State FL 8 points, 1.8 rebounds 1.6 steals, 22 threes
Spivey was very impressive this travel system and excelled in various systems. Spivey can shoot the three as good as anyone and can get to the rim. She handles the ball well and plays very good defense. Spivey showed great leadership during the travel season and will be called upon to lead a young Creekside team.
Trista Brown Trista Brown 5'6" | SG Oakleaf | 2025 State FL 9.3 points, 3 rebounds, 2.8 steals, 2.2 assists, 35 threes
Brown will take over the leadership role at Oakleaf with the departure of Kayla Turner and Fantasia James. Brown was a key part of Oakleaf’s run last year and has seamlessly moved into the leadership role. Brown is a confident player who can shoot the rock and can score in a floury when she gets on a role. Brown also does a good job of handling the ball and setting th pace for the offense.
Terrannya Medlock Terrannya Medlock 6'0" | SG Ribault | 2025 State FL 11.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals, 1.2 blocks
Medlock is one of the most versatile players in the 2025 class. Medlock can play all 5 positions on the court. In one game last year, she knocked down 4 or 5 threes and led her team to some big wins playing on the wing. At 6 feet tall, she presented some major matchup problems when playing the guard position. Medlock is also versatile and can also play on the blocks. She is a scoring threat from anywhere on the floor.
Lamiyah Hogans Lamiyah Hogans 5'10" | CG San Jose Prep | 2025 State FL is another player on the First Coast who can light up the score clock when she gets it going. Hogans can shoot the three and loves pulling up in transition . Hogans is a guard-forward who has size and can handle the ball. She can score at any area of the court. She is poised for a big year on the First Coast.
