Broadus is an absolute terror in the paint. D-II schools are wisely fighting to land Amaya. She dominated Woodstock with 15 points, 21 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. Broadus has an uncanny nose for the ball and is not bashful about using her strength to get where she wants to go. She is a plug-and-play freshman at the next level that will immediately add toughness to a frontcourt.
Jacobs has emerged as one of Woodstock’s most important players. Through three weeks, she leads the Wolverines in scoring (12.0), rebounds (4.0), assists (2.0) and steals (1.7). Emily is a balanced scorer, averaging two made three-pointers per game. Her activity and knowledge of the game standout. In a 51-38 loss to New Manchester, Jacobs tallied 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
It wasn’t pretty, but River Ridge found a way to survive without Sophia Pearl Sophia Pearl 5’8″ | PG River Ridge | 2025 State GA , Kayla Cleaveland Kayla Cleaveland 6’0″ | PF River Ridge | 2025 State GA netting a game-tying three at the buzzer to force overtime before the Knights outlasted Hillgrove 53-44. Cleaveland came up clutch, pouring in 22 points and 13 rebounds refusing to see River Ridge’s unbeaten streak end. After a slow first week, Kayla has caught fire, now averaging 11.8 points per game with six threes through four games.
Joy’s toughness inside is anything but a joy to deal with as an opponent. Tchamabe posted 11 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a breakout performance. Hillgrove had a hard time matching Tchamabe’s physicality in the paint. She is a sneaky prospect to keep an eye on for D-II programs looking for muscle.

Olivia flew around the court, overflowing the box score in Pope’s 51-12 win over East Paulding. O’Connor matched the Raiders’ scoring output with 12 points of her own to go with her 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 8 steals, moving her into the lead for steals per game at 4.5 through three weeks.
CeCe Dennis isn’t the only freshman that can play at Creekside. Sydnee Hunter Sydnee Hunter 5’6″ | SG Creekside | 2027 State GA had a coming out party in a hard-fought 43-38 win over Harrison. Hunter put up 15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Hunter has quietly been one of the league’s more consistent players, ranking in the Top 10 in scoring (9.0).
Highlights
Jones narrowly missed out on a double-double, recording 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks against Creekside. Kennedi’s athleticism and motor are hallmarks of her game. She has a wiry cut frame and uses her strength and agility to get to balls quicker than others. Standing under 6-foot tall, Jones ranks third in the league in rebounding at 8.7 per game. Her defensive versatility will be an attractive trait at the next level.
