Bruno Corras of [program_tooltip program_id='715208' first='Elevate' last='Elite'] put on an excellent clinic over the weekend in Northern Virginia. I was able to catch some action at Centreville High School during the day two session, where over 80 players participated. A host of excellent coaches and trainers provided a full day of instruction and one hell of a work. Players moved from station to station from for skill and drill work before breaking out for some game action. Here are my notes from the session.

Strong and solidly built guard had a good day. She showed versatility, playing both guard spots and defended at a high level. She can guard multiple positions and she was locked in the whole day.

[player_tooltip player_id='857742' first='Mya' last='Latney'], 2025, Point Guard, Mt. Zion Academy

5'6" guard with a strong pull up game. She plays off two feet effectively, has good balance, and long range on her jumper. Her growth as a point guard continues to expand and she is a handful on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='749389' first='Mila' last='Spencer'], 2027, Shooting Guard, James River

This was my second time seeing Mila. She's a big guard that can probably play some at the three as well. She has a high motor and plays a physical game for a guard. She looked smooth in the ball handling and shooting drills.

[player_tooltip player_id='984283' first='Tanisha' last='Srinivas'], 2028, Guard, Stone Hill Middle School

Tanisha aced all the drills and displayed some solid all-around fundamentals. She is exceptional ball handler and has a nice pull up jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='743970' first='Irieanna' last='Smoot'], 2026, Wing, Osbourn High School

At 5'11" she is all arms and legs. In addition to her impressive length, she has a nice jumper and a decent handle. She has hops and showed the ability to get off the floor.

Caitlyn Jones, 2025, Point Guard, Rolesville High School

One of the best players in the event. Plays the point position at a high level. She made all the drills look easy and plays with a ton of confidence. Look out for a Power 5 commitment at some point.

Alexis Hammock, 2027, Point Guard, Grace Christian Academy

Tough point guard with excellent vision and instincts. She's a pass first guard and she delivered some really accurate passes. Strong ball handling skills and she is a shot maker when necessary. She went hard on defense and fought through screens.

Ayomide Adewumi, 2026, Wing, Knightdale High School

Six-footer with a nice wingspan and probably the best defender in the event. She has excellent length and knows how to use it. She gave ball handlers fits when she applied pressure and played deny defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='785460' first='Cayenne' last='Pigeon'], 2027, Wing, St. John's Catholic Prep

5'8" guard/wing that moved well without the ball and was always shot ready on the catch. Good range and form on her shot.
