Taylor is a high motor guard, effective at crashing the glass and getting big in the paint. Effective at leveraging her strength in the post, the guard can rise into fadeaways down low. Capable of turning the corner on jumpers or pivoting around contests, Taylor is tough to slow down inside. Her willingness to move off-ball makes her difficult to stop, always somebody needing to keep an eye on her at all times.
Clark displayed notable impact across the board, finding ways to be a proactive playmaker. The guard has been a willing driver, either in transition or within the half court. Clark can utilize self-created dribble moves to free up space, notably effective with her crossover. Her passing vision was on full display at the 2027 showcase this past August, seeking out extra shotmakers and threading the needle through tight windows. Her floor spacing will be an area of intrigue, showing upside on spot-up threes. Despite her 5’6 size, Clark was impactful on the glass, not afraid to get into the thick of it to secure a board. Defensively, she did well walling off opposing guards from driving lanes, stepping into position early to instigate.
Highlights
Fuessel is a well rounded guard who brings a myriad of skills and benefits through her play. Effective defending multiple positions, particularly 2s and 3s, the guard has proven herself defensively. Capable of staying wiry strong versus guards, Fuessel does well shading towards helps and leading opponents into tough shots. Offensively, the guard is a jack of all trades, effectively handling the ball or spacing the floor. Effective on catch and shoot threes, their ability to space the floor will be immensely valuable to Valor. Her strength on drives has added value, actively attacking a rotating defense and staying composed against contests. Her impact rebounding the ball will be intriguing, given her notable impact throughout previous events.
Coffield showed an efficient style of play, getting to her spots or decisions within a couple dribbles. Quick to the point, the guard does well getting downhill off the catch, attacking quickly before the defense can settle in. One area of notable impact from Coffield was her shotmaking in the mid-range, effectively rising up into shots quickly off the catch or from the pull-up. Effective contributing shot attempts through pressure, the guard is composed under pressure. Another area of value has been her defensive anticipation, getting out early to deflect passes across the top of the floor.
A confident shotmaker, the guard looks to add immediate offensive value along the perimeter. Effective flowing into shots off the bounce, the guard can step into attempts out of ball screens or off-ball actions. Her quick footwork makes her a dynamic shooter, certainly tough to slow down when her shot is rolling. One area of impact outside of the jumper has been her rebounding, especially proactive attacking the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. Ettachfini showed willingness passing out of those rebounds, looking to get the ball moving for open shooters.
