SubscribeThese are the top players in the 2025 class by position. No matter their overall rank they all have a #1 by their names as the best of the best for what they do. Here are the top six players you need when forming a team.
POINT GUARD
Caliyah is the top point guard in the class of 2025 and the top player in the class overall. She has an excellent handle and great vision. Her scoring prowess at the point prevents defenses from playing four on five as with point guards that aren’t a threat to score. She has a nice shot and elevates well on her mid range pull-up.
SHOOTING GUARD
Makayla has all of the desired attributes for a shooting guard. She is athletic, long and can drive or shoot. She can guard all of the perimeter positions and is good at crashing the board. She shoots with confidence with a nice form and works to get her open looks.
COMBO GUARD
Being effective at both guard positions makes for a good combo guard. Milan fits the mode as she plays well off the ball or at the lead. She give her team options as she can affect the game sitting back and working the court or she can fill up the stat sheet with buckets.
SMALL FORWARD / WING
Vanessa is a strong guard and a really strong rebounder. Inside she can make second chance points on the offensive boards and she elevates and finishes well in the paint. She can post up or score from beyond the arc. She can be a full time point guard if needed but the Mustangs are loaded at the position. Her versatility is an asset that any program would love to have.
POWER FORWARD
Kaliyah will bang it out down low with anyone and can blow by most players at her position. She is good at stretching the floor with her speed and handle and her size and strength make her a good finisher when attacking the basket.
CENTER
Meghan plays well with her back to the basket and can finish over her shoulder with both hands. When in the paint she’s ready for war but then she drifts out to the three which is a shot she can hit as well. She exceptionally good around the free throw line area where she shoots a good percentage. Defenses are reluctant to help off of her as she is a threat from most anywhere.
