Karmine has great size & length. A post player that most would not believe is a freshman! This young star has a great understanding of the game. Can play numerous positions! Finishes really well at the rim & completed numerous old fashioned 3 point plays! Exceptional rebounder & passer! She does a great job of finding the open spot in the lane. I was left extremely impressed with this kid’s style of play. The future is extremely bright!
Andrea is one of the best shooters in our state! Extremely high IQ kid that knows exactly what to do with or without the ball in her hands! Whatever you are looking for in a guard, you will find just that in Andrea Flores Andrea Flores 5’10” | SG Daniel Boone | 2026 State TN ! Amazing court vision and by far one of the purest shooters! If you want to talk about a kid that can just flat out play the game of basketball the right way, let’s talk! The stock is only going to continue to rise with this one. I can’t wait to see who lands this one. Looks like we are waiting a couple years to find out!

Karina shot the lights out of the gym! I don’t know her stats but I do know that every time the ball left her hand, it went in over 50% of the time! Bystry had an amazing summer of basketball & all of her hard work is showing on the court. If I had to pick only ONE shooter of the day, I’m picking Karina. There was so much talent and so many good shooters but Karina’s shot is a true beauty! One of the quickest releases that all college coaches will love to see! Doesn’t need much time at all to get her shot off! I truly enjoyed watching this one and her McMinn Central team play!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Burroughs is one of the toughest post players that you are going to find! She isn’t 6 foot and she doesn’t need to be. Uses her physicality and strength to push anyone around on the low block. When her back is to the basket, she is turning and scoring. Uses her body extremely well to rebound. Finishes extremely well & on defense she alters plenty of shots with her presence in the paint!
This freshman does not play like a freshman. You know how some freshman are a little timid, make a little more mistakes than others, and you can just tell that they are freshman. Well, that is not Alexis. Hammock plays with confidence and turnovers are at an all time minimum with this young star! A natural leader that is only a freshman! An extremely high IQ kid that can get her team a bucket at any time. I don’t use the term, “3 level scorer” often but that describes Hammock. Alexis can score at all 3 levels. Imagine all of that with amazing court vision & she gets all of her teammates involved. The future is extremely bright for this one!
If you want to talk about an efficient shooter, let’s talk. Zoey has all of the tools to grow into an amazing player! I’d tell anyone to jump on the wagon now because this one is going to take off faster than most! The young star makes all of the correct reads! Great passer with good handles! One of the toughest defenders that always gives the extra effort! High motor kid on both sides of the ball. Keep working Zoey because the future is extremely bright!!

Lily Cathcart
Lily Cathcart
One of the hardest workers in the paint! Works hard to get position and keep position! Even when she doesn’t receive the ball, she never stops working! Provided her team with numerous extra possessions! A fundamentally sound player that rebounds exceptionally well & holds her seal in the low block better than most! The junior post will be a difference maker in the paint. Good shot blocker and good defender!
Enough good things truly can’t be said about KJ! We’ve covered that she’s athletic, versatile, ball savvy, highly skilled, long, crafty, a great defender, a shot blocker, a bucket getter, and we can continue to go on and on! In all honesty, KJ could be mentioned in every single article we write about notable players. Remember this, she is only a sophomore! To all college coaches, if you haven’t extended offers to this one, what could you possibly be waiting on?
How many times have we mentioned this one now? If you didn’t know why Brady Branam Brady Branam 6’2″ | PF TKA | 2025 State TN is going D1, you know now! I don’t keep stats but I knew she was close to a double double in the first half alone against Karns. She’s a special power forward that is going to continue to lead the young TKA squad this year and next! A walking double-double that is extremely fun to watch! Let’s just go ahead and list the entire TKA squad with this name because this young team has one of the brightest futures! Keep working hard ladies!
