While having some time to prepare for this year, I have put together a list of a handful of competitors that will be considered for our Miss Nebraska Basketball POTY. Each player is someone that is monumental in the success of their perspective team, while also being absolutely dominate in most facets of the game across the board.
Please note: This award, depending on who is giving it, usually only accounts for players competing during their Senior seasons. That will NOT be the case in this situation. Any player, from any grade level is fair game and has a chance to win.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Molly Ladwig Molly Ladwig 5'9" | CG Omaha Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE is a player that we have recently featured a few times for being a candidate as one of the top players throughout the state, regardless of age or grade level. It would be really dumb to have her in those conversations but not this one for possibly being the best player in the state throughout this upcoming season. Ladwig is a D1-level guard, thats resume fits along with her skill level. She is someone that can control the pace and tempo of a contest while also being able to change up the outcome of that contest in the blink of an eye because of her elite scoring/creating ability on offensive and quick feet on defense. All in all, she is the point guard that her coaches can trust and that everyone wants on their team but hates to play against. Skutt Catholic is prepped to put together another rememberable winter behind the play of Ladwig. If she can work off of the success she has had the past two seasons, her team will be sitting in a great spot come playoff time. Something that is more then doable from an outside perspective.
