Team Preview: Jenks Trojans

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was able to get out to "The Last Finale" scrimmage in Sand Springs just before Thanksgiving and got a chance to see several teams get their last bit of practice in before the season starts. Jenks was a fun squad to watch and Head Coach Will Seymour was nice enough to email me a roster. I don't want to say u0022should be startersu0022 or anything like that. But, I mean, Jill should be starting. Any games she plays in, the Division-I commit (Rice) is the most athletic player on the court. She is ready, willing, and able to shoot it from anywhere and can rise up above anyone to score it. As the years have gone by, she has only gotten more confident in her incredible abilities and the No. 2-ranked player in her class and No. 1-ranked player at her position is the focal point for this Jenks Trojans squad on offense and defense. She is tall and long and can absolutely shoot the lights out. What really impressed me at this particular scrimmage was her ability to guard positions one through five. She has the size to handle any four or five down low, but she has plenty of speed and lateral quickness to handle a one out at the top of the arc. She stood out initially (when I didn't exactly remember who she was) for her shooting.
