Gannon is a 6’2 post that has already received offers from schools such as UTC and MTSU. She’s the perfect compliment to the talented guards at Coffee County. She’s a big that has college-ready size and strength, knows how to use her shoulders to create space, and is able to finish through contact. Ultra soft touch makes her a great finish, and a nice touch out to 18 ft. On any other team, she could average 18 and 10….but for CC she plays a different role. Love this kids talents and competitiveness.
The reigning Miss TN winner, Baugus is a star. She’s sitting on offers from App St., Belmont, TN Tech, Southern Miss, etc. She’s one of the most efficient scorers in the state, as she was 2nd on the EYBL circuit in points per possession. When she catches the ball in her spots, her footwork, skill, and feel make her an automatic bucket. She’s also a terrific rebounder. In the state tournament, leading Wayne Co to the championship game, she averaged over 20/10. One of the most consistent kids in the state, and continues to improve.
Doesn’t have overwhelming size, but makes up for it with elite skill. Reeder is a force down low for the powerful Picket County team. She is all the post moves a coach would look for–baby hook, drop step, up and under etc. She’s shoots a high percentage at the rim, and is a solid rebounder. She will continue to put up big scoring numbers for PC this year as they compete for a A state championship.
Highlights
Branam is a 6’2 stretch forward/center with a nice touch around the rim. Does a great job protecting the paint/rim. Also can step out and hit the mid-range or three pointer. Runs the floor extremely well. Does a good job of finishing through contact. Prides herself on being a good rebounder on both ends of the floor. Tends to play the passing lanes which allows her to get 2 or 3 steals per game. Will be surrounded by a talented group of guards this year at TKA which will open things up for her a bit down low.
All-District Honorable Mention last year at Hardin Valley, Love is looking at her junior year to be her coming out party. A skilled, big bodied post with soft touch and nice touch around the rim. Competes defensively as a shot blocker and rebounder. If she can keep her motor running high, she has a lot of potential.
Highlights
Wade is a 6 footer that is a real presence on both ends for South Doyle. Wade is an active rebounder, and crashes the offensive glass hard. Nice touch around the rim. Can step out to 15ft with a nice mid-range face up game. Really like her potential on this up and coming South Doyle team.
A 5’11 versatile post that is Stewart Creeks best player. Already had two D1 offers: UT Martin and Saint Louis. Loaded with potential and athleticism. Can score with her back the the basket, or can step away from the rim and playing facing up. Nice mid-range jumper. Excellent player that is under the radar.
6’1 kid that’s really just starting to tap into her offensive potential. Already a high level shot blocker and rebounder. Plays hard, high motor. Can step out to the perimeter and hit from 3. A really versatile kid loaded with potential.
