Larissa Gibson Larissa Gibson 5’9″ | CG Lakeville | 2024 State MI was all-conference for LakeVille Memorial last season and she has picked up right where she left off. Larissa needed 30 points Thursday against Perry to reach 1,000 for her career and that’s exactly what she got. Larissa had 30 points, 17 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks with her 1,000th point coming on a made free throw in the fourth. Larissa is an athletic guard who can jump out of the gym; she will be an outstanding addition to the Oakland Community College Raiders following her senior season.

Kendall Nokovich Kendall Nokovich 5’3″ | PG Hartland | 2027 State MI (2027) put together a clutch performance to help lead Hartland to victory against cross-town rivals Howell Thursday. She finished the game with 11 points, hitting three big shots from beyond the arc. Kendall hit a right hand floater and handled the ball with poise under pressure in key situations for the Eagles. Only a freshman, Kendall is a PG who is already playing an instrumental role for the Eagles in big games.
Heidi Fuchs Heidi Fuchs PF State MI was a key factor for Dexter earning an upset victory Friday against D2 powerhouse Chelsea. She high pointed a pass in the paint then finished inside through contact not once, but twice! Heidi caught a pass in the high post, paused, then beat her defender going right to make a shot off the glass with a foul and then added the free throw. Heidi worked all game to corral rebounds for Dexter. She got to the charity stripe and made both free throws to help seal an upset win for the Dreadnaughts.
Addison Chase Addison Chase 5’7″ | PG Dexter | 2026 State MI made key plays to help Dexter win on offense and defense Friday. She hit a wing 3, finished layups, and caused turnovers by using her quick hands to deflect passes. One of Addison’s best plays came when she used her left hand to deliver a bounce pass through multiple defenders to get her teammate an open look at the rim. Addison handled the ball under immense pressure late in the game and her ability to create space with her dribble and deliver accurate passes helped seal the victory.

Ella Day
Ella Day (2024) SG stepped up for Chelsea to keep them in position to win against Dexter Friday. She had her sights lined up as she drilled a wing 3 off the hop and two more corner 3’s down the stretch to spark her team offensively. Ella has the length to shoot with little separation and contributes with steals and blocks on the defensive end.
Anna Richards Anna Richards 5’9″ | PG Lansing Catholic | 2024 State MI was on fire for the Cougars in a Catholic league showdown Friday night. Game notes: top of key 3, left handed runner, finish at the rim, wing 3, top of the key 3, & contested floater. She has the downhill drives and smooth dribbling to handle pressure and finish, but also the sharpshooting ability to pull up at any time. Anna is an impressive guard for Lansing Catholic.

Ava Rodriguez put on a show for the audience (college coaches) Friday night. She had her floater game going strong, hitting one from the baseline, off the glass, and another one after dribbling circles around multiple defenders. Ava hit multiple 3’s from all over the court, but possibly her best play was when she blocked a shot on a shooter by closing out full speed and leaping up to get a hand on the ball. Ava led the way for the Lady Irish as they won one of the highest profile games of the season against 2022 D2 champs Lansing Catholic.
