Taylor is a tough nosed, charismatic chip on your shoulder type of player. She has a knack for the defensive side of the basketball and is a constant effort, vocal and high motor kind of guard. She has solid size and skill for her position and will really add a spark to this young and talented Brighton roster. She was out most of last season besides for playoffs so she will have a lot to prove and has the opportunity to do it. Keep an eye out for Taylor workman and the bengals this season.
Emilee has proved herself to be the best player not only in this class but in the entire state regardless of class. She is an outstanding offensive threat and is always in control. At 6’0 tall with her handle, shooting ability and body control going to the basket she is ultimately one of the most, if not the most intriguing talent Utah girls hoops possesses. She’s got the scholarships to prove this as she’s been on visits to the University of Arizona, University of Utah and the University of North Carolina. Be on the look out for Emilee as she looks to lead Ridgeline to another State Championship as a Junior.
Emma is simply put, a BEAST on the boards. Last year as a sophomore she recorded multiple double doubles with points and rebounds and also had a handful of games where she recorded 25+ rebounds in a single game! At her size in her region she is outright dominant and a force in the paint, she has nice touch around the rim with either hand and is a hustler getting after every shot that goes up. She is solid on defensive rotations and defends straight up in the post which allows her to record blocks! She played a big role last season and we expect an even bigger season this year! Keep an eye out for Emma this season.
La’la is a hooper! She can score the basketball and fill the stat sheet. She was the clear leader for this APA Draper squad last season and averaged a whopping 23.4 points per game last season. She can score at all 3 levels and has a very tight handle. She has proved to be one of, if not the most elite scorer in her class and will likely fill the stat sheet up again this season with APA Draper. Looking forward to seeing how La’la’s game has improved over the summer, be on the lookout!
Mili is one of the most intriguing players in the entire state due to her unique skill set at her size and length! She is about 5’11-6’0 tall and has a guard skill set. She can handle the ball, shoot from outside, and really get to the paint well. She has long arms and is quick on her feet which makes her an elite defensive threat to be in passing lanes, block shots, and just be able to cover a lot of ground on that end of the ball. As she continues to improve her skill set and her role on this Skyridge team, don’t be surprised if you see her start to get some scholarships as she checks all the boxes to be a solid 2 way player at any level! Keep an eye out for Merceius and what she accomplishes this season.
Charlotte is a unique player in this class for a couple of reasons. She is a 6’1 C/PF who not only plays well in the paint but also can stretch the floor and pop to the perimeter where she can fade for her 3 point shot as well. She has a solid shot from 3, especially at the top of the key off the pick and pop as well as inbound passes where other teams bigs will tend to sag off and protect the paint. She has gotten very good at taking advantage of these situations. She is continuing to develop her offensive and defensive skill sets in the areas of handling the ball, passing, defensive rotation and blocking shots. She is set to have a fantastic junior season alongside a young talented core of players at Brighton like Junior guard Taylor workman and sophomore Guards

Addy makes the switch over to Bingham High from Mountain ridge and pairs up with senior scoring machine Breanna Badonie. This instantly becomes one of the better backcourts in the state as Addy adds defense, toughness, tight handles, leadership and playmaking ability. Addy is a great shooter off the catch, good at getting in the lane off the dribble to create but can finish from time to time when she catches help side defense off guard and is an elite passer. She is the type of player that ever coach loves to have and makes every player around her better. She is a true point guard and we are excited to see how she builds off of a great sophomore year in a new system that she should thrive in.
Joss is an athlete. She is quick with or without the ball in her hands and she is quick on the move. She runs the lane very well in transition but can also be a perimeter threat, especially off the catch. She plays with an elite motor which makes her such a valuable piece for this titan roster. She has solid size playing on the wing, pair that up with her effort and her skill set and she is a very talented team player. Expectations are high this season, expect her to meet them!
Gabrielle is a lockdown defender. She has good size and length for her position which makes her capable of guarding 3 sometimes 4 positions on the floor. This makes her one of the most versatile on ball defenders in all of the state, she can guard the big setting the screen, switch on to the point guard and hold her own that possession on defense, this is what makes her unique. She is good at attacking the rim to draw contact and get to the free throw line. She will need to make a jump offensively but she seems like she is more than capable of doing so. An under the radar prospect who is ready to make some noise this season.
Aspen is an important role player, glue girl type of player. Does not need the ball in her hands very much to impact the game for her team, rather will do a lot of the little things to contribute to a win. With a talented supporting cast of players like

she has players around her who are skilled and play well with the ball in their hands. A girl like aspen compliments this group very well because she can play off the ball as a catch and shoot girl, crash the boards on both ends while standing at 6’0 this helps a team with good size already. Keep on the look for Aspen keeping a talented Copper Hills team together this season.
