As the 2023-2024 season reaches the midpoint, a variety of showcases and tournaments are ongoing. In a couple of weeks, conference seasons will wind down, and teams will begin preparing for their 2024 state tournament run. After expanding the 2025 rankings list to a Top-100 and a watch list of another 100 prospects, we are now at 200 total 2025 prospects listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. At this time, I wanted to highlight all of the point guards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as point out some newcomers and those who have raised their stock since the beginning of the season.

WINTER NEWCOMERS:
Kamoni Grayson
Kamoni
Grayson
5'5" | PG
Fort Wayne South Side | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-5 PG, Fort Wayne South Side H.S.
– Kamoni has been strong to start the 2023-2024 season. She has a solid frame, broad shoulders, but good length as well. She does a nice job of using her strength to get places, but she has nice quickness as well. As she continues building her skillset, she’ll be dangerous at all levels.
Laila Mathis

Warren Central | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-6 PG, Warren Central H.S.
– Laila came onto my radar back in the Fall at the PGH Indiana Top-250 Showcase. She has really nice length, speed & quickness, and she sees the floor fairly well. She is an absolute playmaker in transition, but she changes speeds well and picks her spots in the halfcourt as well.
Paige Traxler

5'5" | PG
Eastside | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-5 PG, Eastside H.S.
– Paige is a tough-nosed, fairly strong, compact, and aggressive guard. She is a nice downhill attacker who plays with determination. She has some touch outside as well, but her game is going to rim and scoring or finding open teammates. She can also be a pest defensively.

WINTER STOCK-RISERS:
Addison Baxter
Addison
Baxter
5'9" | PG
Columbia City | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 5-9 PG, Columbia City H.S.
– Addison has been outstanding all year, helping the Eagles to a 14-2 record, including double-digit wins over Snider and Hamilton Southeastern. She was great last week as well, as they won the Hall of Fame tournament. She can score it from anywhere, and her perimeter jumper continues adding consistency. Even still, she is an unselfish distributor, and she can find teammates through the smallest of windows. She’s also using her strength to finish through contact much better.
Bryn Leonard
Bryn
Leonard
5'7" | PG
Lake Central | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 5-7 PG, Lake Central H.S.
– Bryn is in a strong, crowded backcourt, but she has carved out a key role off the bench for the Indians this season. She is a traditional point guard prospect who can run offense and facilitate, but she’s also a gliding athlete who can slice by defenders, and she can knock down an open jumper consistently. I also like how she uses her length to bother passing lanes at the defensive end of the floor. I look for Bryn to have a really nice Spring following her strong Winter play.
Aniah Smith
Aniah
Smith
5'3" | PG
Avon | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 5-3 PG, Avon H.S.
– Aniah is absolutely one of the most entertaining players in the state, regardless of class. She has speed and quickness, nice balance, and she’s very shifty. She sees the floor extremely well, she has a sixth sense as to where all four of her teammates are, and she can make passes other girls don’t even consider. She has a dynamic handle and can create space, and this Winter she has become an explosive scorer and has filled up stat sheets from all spots on the floor.
