At the beginning of January, we updated our rankings for the Class of 2027. Not only did we add 25 new prospects to the overall list, but we also introduced the first true Top-25 for 2027 on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. Below is a look at five of those players from the small forward list. They aren't necessarily the top five players at the position; this is simply a look at five of the prospects who are currently somewhere within our 2027 list.

[player_tooltip player_id='751299' first='Brianna' last='Brown'], 2027, 5-10 SF/PF, Brownsburg H.S.
- Brianna is a really nice athlete who can do a little of everything on the floor. She grew early and was dominant inside at times throughout middle school. As she's gotten older, however, she has worked on building her perimeter skillset and started to stretch her game to the 3-point line consistently. She has an athletic frame, she can run and jump, and she is a nice, versatile defender who can take on bigger guards, wings, and forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='751098' first='London' last='Gilley'], 2027, 5-11 SF, Washington H.S.
- London is a very skillful wing forward who has shown a lot of promise throughout the past couple of grassroots seasons. She has really nice length, she can shoot it from the perimeter, but she also has a solid handle. She can run offense like a point forward and find teammates, or she can attack the basket North/South. London plays with a really nice motor as well, and she is a versatile defender who rebounds the ball fairly well from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='834948' first='Ally' last='Lewis'], 2027, 5-7 SF/SG, Western Boone H.S.
- Ally is a fairly strong, versatile wing. She has some length, she's a solid all-around athlete, and she plays with a really nice motor. She has some touch from the perimeter but is still a bit streaky at times. She has transitioned nicely to the Varsity level for Western Boone, averaging right at 10.0 points per game, to go along with 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. As she gets older and works on her skill, she can be a really nice elite small college prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='834925' first='Kylah' last='Patterson'], 2027, 5-11 SF, Hammond Oliver P. Morton H.S.
- Kylah really exploded onto the scene in Northwest Indiana. She might not yet be known well throughout the state, but this rookie averaged 27.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 4.7 steals per game for the Governors. She is a strong, athletic ball of energy. She flies up and down the floor and plays with a great motor. She needs to learn pace and to change speeds a little better, but she has noticeable talent and the potential to be heavily recruited.

[player_tooltip player_id='644053' first='Miley' last='Sherrill'], 2027, 5-9 SF/SG, Bedford North Lawrence H.S.
- Miley is a nice, strong, fairly athletic wing prospect with good all-around skill. She stepped into a very good high school program at Bedford and has made an immediate impact this year. She is averaging 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game this season, plus she's 20-42 from 3-point range for a 48% rate. She's also an 80% free throw shooter. Next season, she will be crucial to the Stars' success, as they will graduate their top two players.
