Lafayette vs Henry Clay   Battle between two teams out of the 43rd District. She played strong defense on the perimeter and in the post and was very active on the glass and played with energy on both ends. She also hit 3 triples showing she can shoot it from way out. Van Metre led the way in scoring with 17 points. She also hit a big three to close out the 3rd quarter. Stone finished with 10 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Impact Players for Menifee County   [player_tooltip player_id='588083' first='Shalyne' last='Baker']Was outstanding in this game, she was in attack mode on offense and a did a job putting her head down and getting to the basket using her strength and athleticism to score through contact. She also displayed a nice pull-up game from the mid range used screens to her advantage and made a living at the free throw line. Baker finished with 19 points.   Kaylee Hall-SR-CG-Ran the offense well made good passes and made sure to get everyone a touch. She came up with a steal and pulled up for a corner triple in the first quarter and knocked down a big three to end the third quarter finishing 6 points in the game. She is a very good ball handler and a crafty finisher at the rim. She scored 19 points and went 11/13 from the free throw line. She rebounded the ball at a high volume and finished well around the rim and in the paint. She also ran the floor in transition and protected the rim. Impact Players for Raceland   Kennedy Taylor-SR-C-Finished strong on the low block displayed nice footwork going over her left shoulder, where she scored every time. Taylor cleaned the glass and used her size and strength to alter and block shots on defense. She scored 8 points and snagged 6 rebounds. She got her shot going from three in the second quarter hitting one from the wing and the corner scoring every point in the second quarter. Showed nice touch on a runner in the lane in the third quarter. Maynard finished with a game-high 28 points including 5 made 3's and went 9/10 from the free throw line.   [player_tooltip player_id='740325' first='Mia' last='Adkins']Was excellent on defense and played the passing lanes well, capitalized on free throw opportunities, scored off the dribble and finished strong at the rim. She also facilitated the ball, made good passes and had a nice scoop layup in the second half. Adkins finished with 8 points along with several assists.   End Of Game Results: Menifee County cuts down the nets as they win the 16th Region All "A" Classic Championship for the 2nd year in a row 60-49.   Wayne County vs Russell County   12th Region Wayne County Lady Cards take on the 4th Region Russell County Lakers   Impact Players for Wayne County   Jordan Collum-SR-CG-Made a huge impact on both ends of the floor and was firing on all cylinders making shots from beyond the arc and did a good job attacking the rim, drawing contact at inside that led to free throw opportunities. She finished with a game-high 24 points, nailed 3 triples, grabbed 6 rebounds and went 7/8 from the line.   [player_tooltip player_id='376807' first='Adeline' last='Heatherly']Did whatever it took for her team to get the win. She played tough defense on the perimeter and made a good effort to rebound the ball. Heatherly finished with 9 points and 6 rebounds.   Impact Players for Russell County   Rachel Bolin-JR-PF-Brought her "A" game in this one. She was aggressive, attacking the basket every time she saw an opening and showed touch on the mid range jumper. Bolin had a monster game finishing with 20 points along with 14 rebounds.   [player_tooltip player_id='1047027' first='Aniyah' last='Coffey']-SO-CG-Was very efficient all night, she played with poise and let the game come to her. She also did a great job creating contact that led to several trips to the line. Coffey was the second leading scorer with 13 points and went 5/5 at the charity stripe.
