Grant is the #1 ranked player in the 2026 Palmetto State Class. Celena and her teammates won ugly yesterday over Gray Collegiate. Grant played all 32 minutes just like her teammates. The Yellow Jackets didn’t sub in the game at all and played 5 players the whole game.
Grant really likes to play physical and likes to get the ball downhill at times. Celena finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals in the win. She constantly plays extremely active on both ends of the floor. Celena makes herself available for a rebound on both ends, a needed pass or a bucket. She constantly plays to the whistle every time out on the hardwood.
Alexander plays the game at all times very hard and determined. Ayona thrives on playing with contact. She handled the rock here at times today and really looks to do a little bit of everything for the Lady Volunteers. Ayona finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds today in the win over Military Magnet.
Ayona can step-out for a short jumper from time to time when needed. She plays her best basketball around the paint and just crashing the glass.
Asbelle is a very skilled player and really understands on how to stuff a stat sheet. Ni’yonna was extremely effective with shot selection here today and production. She finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals for good measure.
Asbelle plays the game very vocal and in constant communication with her teammates. Ni’yonna dropped some mid-range jumpers when she wasn’t scoring the ball in transition.
Can the Lady Volunteers be the last team standing this season in Class 2A?
McCray and her Lady Falcons teammate suffered a loss to South Pointe HS. Skylar was able to finish through contact on the way to the bucket today. She really has nice stroke from the perimeter to open defenses with her ability to knockdown shots.
McCray finished with 10 points in the loss while entering the game at 12 ppg.
