The First 2027 Class Rankings Drops, Features 50

Five years after the very first Prep Girls Hoops Kansas class rankings release comes the largest initial rankings for a freshman class. There is talent everywhere across the state and 50 prospects were selected for inclusion. Every classification plus a home school are represented. Leading the way are 6A and 5A prospects [player_tooltip player_id='672683' first='Eve' last='Long'], [player_tooltip player_id='779227' first='Amillia' last='Prochnow'], [player_tooltip player_id='779205' first='Laila' last='Boylan'], [player_tooltip player_id='671505' first='Maddie' last='Vickery'], and [player_tooltip player_id='791747' first='Bella' last='Bouddhara'].   Building a ranked list is not an easy task, even with the previously release watch list on hand. The first month of the high school season unearthed many new names. A couple on the watch list were not included but remain on my internal watch list that currently is composed of approximately 50 names. Information is gathered from a wide variety of sources. Scouting reports from other Prep Girls Hoops scouts, material on other media sites, feedback from colleagues with other media sources, parents, players, coaches, and of course my own in-person scouting and a lot of hours watching streamed games and video highlights went into building this initial class rankings. Each rankings release is a snapshot in time. No rankings are perfect but is produces is a unbiased, highly educated, and informed opinion.
