She was aggressive in getting to the rim and had some crafty finishes. Chantilly knocked down many threes, and Emerson joined that party with one of her own. Emerson was also hugely impactful on defense, getting her hands in passing lanes and being disruptive to what Westfield tried to do. Chantilly won this game largely because of the efficiency of their offense in the first half and them forcing Westfield into a lot of turnovers. Addie almost outscored Independence herself, putting in 26 points and a school-record 8 threes on 13 shots. Stone Bridge is having a great year, and Addie's experience has played a big part in their success. Hayfield has had a nice season, and they have a couple of players I have enjoyed watching this year. One of them is Freshman Guard [player_tooltip player_id='747629' first='Courtney' last='Breland']. Courtney had 23 points in a 45-point Hayfield victory.
