Continue ReadingMackenzie continues to be such a high level player for the Lady Trojans. As a coach, she is the player you will always find minutes for because you will never see her take wild shots, throw bad passes, or turn the ball over. She takes good care of the basketball, knows where the ball needs to go and will help facilitate the offense. Mackenzie hit some big 3’s Friday night, all within the flow of the offense. She rebounds well and can defend the perimeter or the paint. I’m very excited to see her continued development as her stock is sure to continue to rise over the next couple of years.
Kennedy’s ability to own the paint has made her a very solid prospect over the last few years. She is not going to be bullied down low and does a great job of redirecting the basketball out of the paint. She is an above average rebounder and has really done a great job developing her low post game which has made her a viable option to throw the ball to when the game needs to be slowed down. She can run the pick and roll and does a great job being able to defend it as well. She is a very solid overall player that is sure to be a major key as the Lady Trojans gear up to make a run at a 3A state title.
Highlights
This senior is a true PG that has continued to impress everyone that lays eyes on her. She is lightening quick off the dribble and knows how to attack the defense in open space. She is not bothered by heavy pressure at all and can still run an offense with hands all in her face. Coaches will elect to double her at times, however that opens up the floor for everyone else. She does a great job in the pick and roll and can hit the open jump shot when you need her. She has a very aggressive approach to the game and can be plugged into a variety of offensive sets. Collegiate programs in need of a dynamic PG must give Re’Ale a look.
A’lanah Moore
A’lanah Moore
A’lanah has certainly slipped under the radar this season but that needs to change. The senior standout was by far the game’s top shooter and hit several big 3’s throughout the course of the game. She opened the game knocking down two shots from distance and never really let up. She is dangerous and must be accounted for every possession as she will make you pay if you don’t get a hand in her face. She does a great job recognizing the close out defender and has enough ball handling ability to attack the lane when she needs to. She had a beautiful spin move during the game where she was able to beat her defender and score in the pain. A prototypical wing player that can be of value to a collegiate program in need an outside scoring threat.
Camri proved why she is one of the top players in the 2026 class on Friday night. Her size at the PG spot is unlike anything that you’ll see at the HS level. She can see over the top of the defense and can get the ball to her teammates with ease. There is just not a lot of guards with her size and athleticism. This makes her a matchup nightmare and teams just have trouble forcing the ball out of her hands because she knows how to play physical. She embraces contact and knows how to get to the rim whenever she wants to. She can get from Point A to Point B in a hurry and can finish through contact. Defensively, she can defend 1-5. She can be found defending the perimeter then using her quickness to get down low and block shots in the paint. It is not everyday that you find guards who can also protect the rim. Camri was very impressive and her ceiling is absolutely through the roof. Programs will certainly want to get in early on her.
Li’Ara Batts
Li’Ara Batts
Li’Ara is the tough as nails, gritty PG that coaches love to see compete. She has a knack for the ball and will put her body on the line just to give her team an extra possession. She will fight and contest everything and never backs down. She is very quick off the dribble and will find gaps in the defense to get right to the rim. Her strength is being able to attack the lane and she knows how to pull in the help defenders. She knows how to get to the free throw line and draw fouls from her opponents. She is an overall bothersome defender and can get out in the open floor to lead the break. Very good outing from this senior standout.
