There are a lotof good players in the rankings who have made great strides from one ranking period to the next. In this article we look at some of the top guards in the 2025 class who made the biggest moves in the Junior class rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='430279' first='Jamison' last='Cardwell'] moved up 57 spots and the way the guard has played this season, the sky is the limit. Through 19 games, Cardwell averaged 17.9 points per game, including 34 threes. Last season, the junior scored 391 points, and was at 341 through 19 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='248674' first='Kiarra' last='Orphelia'] made one of the biggest moves in the 2025 class and her rise is based primarily on her performance of her play at the Expo held last fall. Orphelia is athletic and has the ability to score in a lot of ways. Orphelia can get down hill on the right or left side, and do so in hurry. Defensively she applies great pressure on the ball. At the Expo, Orphelia was having her way. She was showing a sweet midrange and could also score behind the arc. Orphelia can rip into it or pull up in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='664264' first='Zion' last='McRae'] was another big mover in the most recent rankings. McRae's performance at the Fall Expo was a premonition of the 2023 - 2024 season. McRae averaged 24.5 points per game this season through 17 games. McRae is a scorer and reached the 20 point mark in all but 5 games this season. Her skillset is a combination of athleticism, speed, and quickness. She is relentless attacking the rim and playing in transition and can shoot the three. McRae connectednon 64 threes this past season.

[player_tooltip player_id='428045' first='Savannah' last='Ferguson'] moved up 30 spots and deservedly so. Ferguson can shoot the rock and drive it to the rim as well. I saw Ferguson at ENG Power Showcase where she was a standout. Her ability to shoot the ball and score were impressive. She is a glue player who does what ever it takes to win. Ferguson averaged a little over 10 points per game this season and is poised to have a great spring AAU season. Ferguson can stick it from behind tghe arc, where she connected on 47 threes. Several times, the young Junior guard knocked down at least 5 threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='430261' first='Janie' last='Boyd'] was a big stock riser, moving 34 spots. All season she was a key player helping lead Providence to one of their best seasons ever. Boyd averaged 13.2 points per game, including 24 threes. Boyd is a savvy player who does a good job of making plays and putting her teammates in good positions to score. Boyd does a good job passing to her talented bigs as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='248428' first='Kalese' last='Salter'] moved up 28 spots and is on an upward projectory with her good play. The young guard is explosive and has shown that she can do it all on the offensive end. Salter can score from behind the arc and she can defintely get into the paint and get to the rim. Salter averaged 12.2 points per game and knocked down 24 three pointers during tghe season.

[player_tooltip player_id='633535' first='Alex' last='Gross'] made a nice move up the rankings, moving up 22 spots. Gross is a versatile guard who can score, handle, and defend. she can also shoot from the three point line. She connected on 8 threes in a single game this season. Gross plays great in transition and looks to score. She is also a good defender who uses quickness to create havoc against the olpposing guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='430252' first='Phantasia' last='Lauriston'] made a move after a solid summer and solid 23 - 24 season. She scored 12.6 points per game and rebounded well from th4 guard spot, pulling down 5 rebounds per game.

There are a lotof good players in the rankings who have made great strides from one ranking period to the next. In this article we look at some of the top guards in the 2025 class who made the biggest moves in the Junior class rankings.
