Baldwin was in her bad today. She was being chased around all day and when she could not get her shots off she was finding ways to sling that ball around as she has soem flash to her passes but also some heat on the one handed dimes. Balwdin had some elite moments and she is going to have more to show in the next round.
Kartchner was outstanding and she really showed that she could be a solid next level player. With her size she could really transition from a 5 at the high school level to a 3 or stretch floor at the right level. She should be getting looks from D2’s right now and some NJCAA schools as well. She is a small school player to really keep an eye on.
Olivia has played a solid PG role that allows other players on her team to get open looks. Her quick drives to the hoop have allowed other players to get open looks, especially because she is drawing another defender over. Her vision has been great as she was able to find players open all over the floor. She is a must defend dynamic guard that makes the right play and she is responsible for a lot of hockey assists that don’t get recorded on the stat sheet.
Highlights
This young player showed how hard she plays and she might have had a hard night out on the perimeter or attacking bit her defense was on point. She was racking up steal after steal and her on ball pressure was solid. Help side she anticipates better than most guards in the state. She has a bright future ahead.
Nielson was showing her two way playing skills as an off the ball guard. She was defending, rebounding and finding open areas in defense. Her movement allowed her to get a few rebounds that extended plays. She has elevated her game and it shows on both sides of the ball. That strength and size really helps her.
Little is a dominant force. Her ability move and her height is just a game changer. In a low scoring game she is a player that makes the biggest impact. She is a double-double machine. She is a player to really track because she has next level talent.
